without boomer it would be even harder to get them all down. Boomer basically splits everyone up without other teams knowing [reckon they were puked on]. Then thats when hunter and smoker are useful. If they are in a group the best infected for the job is boomer. So boomer is the best, then smoker, then tank then hunter. I dont like hunter 1 easy to kill 2 useless if they are in groups. At least smoker can escape when it fails. and boomer will explode over them if he fails.

BTW, I don't know if you guys realize this, but when a hunter pounces someone and you're slashing at him, the hunter's taking damage, not the survivor. You can see damage being done to you if you're the hunter. So please, let the hunters be...and watch for on coming survivors instead.

No, it damages the survivor. You see the red indicators, but it damages the survivor. You can tell because the survivor takes way more damage and goes down faster because the amount of time taken to down a survivor with another infected is decreased. That's for the PC version, dunno bout' the 360.
