  • i dont under stand your first test said 3 watts and then you switched it to the 200 scale and it got 90 watts whats that mean if I use it in my truck will it get 90 watts and get me out there further

  • @robrice2004 the 3 watts was "dead key" or carrier wave only the 90 watts came from the Modulation wave, AM radio is a combination of both carrier and modulation, SSB (sideband) is pure modulation only. And to answer your question fully yes, with the proper antenna (low and proper SWR) you should transmit at or around 90 watts.
