k, so here's my question to any UBC students out there, im transferring to ubc and only got accepted at th 1st year lvl, im thinking that would mean i HAVE to live in totem park or venier, but my res acceptance letter says im supposed to go to Marine Drive, any clues as to why that is? btw im gonna be a 21 yo freshman, lol

Nope, some of them are shared -- I think it depends on the room. I don't live in the dorms.

The climate? It's really dry -- for altitude I'd have to recommend Google Earth.

Most of the dorms do not have there own bathroom except the studio apartments in gage thunder bird, and marine (which only upper year or particularly grad studios live). Vanier and Totem floors share bathrooms. Gage/Marine/Fairview units share one some times two bathrooms between 4-6 people.
