I didn't follow the Stones' personal lives at the time, but reading KR's autobiography now I see that Richards became more street-wise, funkier, & rougher due to his Jamaican & US Southern connections and his increasing heroin habit, while Jagger sought out the glitterati, mingled with the arty/jet set, and developed a distorted sense of self esteem that ended in self-parody -- a little like Paul McCartney went saccharine while Lennon went political - people grow apart, often too bad
@migheper haha...I have a bunch of Stones pics & other bands saved in different folders and when I made this video one of the Iggy pics must have been saved in the Stones folder and I didn't notice it.
it's funny because im astones fan and i happen to live on the same block as the aragon ballroom allmy life and never knew they did a show there and i being serious i do live on the exact same block

An extract of their 1989-album "Rock and a heart place", I think. On it, we could also find "Mixed emotions".

UnFckin real! A great song by the Stones and yet, all I can find is this "live" shit!

One of my favourite Stones ballads, and I like them all. Melancholic and better listening to it with a couple of beers. Good job with the photos.
P.S. WTH is Iggy Pop doing at 2:15

Yes we are all slipping away. I just hope I slip as gracefully as the Stones.

@roshaunna This was the 'club' gig that they did on the Licks Tour in certain cities. Bono & Doctor John were special guests.

Arguably one of the best "new" Rolling Stones songs since the 70s. Should get a lot more acclaim than it does. Wonderful, placid track.
