I love your work and watching these videos. Your assemblages are so interesting to look at. I like how you play with your materials. The process seems so unselfconscious and fun, not contrived. :-)
@oceanpoet1 I think there's a very fine line for much of this "vintage" stuff for copyright...I do try to be careful. I've never had a problem with someone stopping me from my color copy work at Kinkos...maybe you need to try a new location. I did once make some copies of US money (bills) for a project ( greatly reduced in size) for which I thought I might have some trouble, but that wasn't even an issue.
Keep posting these wonderful works of art. I love the way the green tassels match the green in your little cut out area with the cake decoration people. LOL I was so relieved when you mentioned about the covers of the magazines and you going to Kinko's to photo copy them. I am like you, I wouldn't want to cut those old magazine covers up. Plus now you can make as many copies as you like and use different aspects of the covers as you need them. LOL Merry Christmas Greg.
Great job!! You are very creative! I love that!

I showed your work to a friend of mine, he's hooked!!!!
Just one question, when you copy the covers at Kinkos, do they ever question the copyright protection.
One time I wanted to copy pics of my kids from when they were babies, and I was told I couldn't b/c of copyright laws.
