I saw The Zombies perform this last night. I was amazed to hear that Beck had covered it because my daughter likes Beck but doesn't like The Zombies. This is a nice version but, of course, the original is much better. Still, if it leads to a wider appreciation of the Zombies, that's wonderful.

@tristianity4u I heard this on Acoustic Cafe on NPR (radio station). They said that Beck came to their studio to play this live a couple years ago for one of their programs... so as far as I know he recorded this specially for them, and not for a movie.

I think Becks voice is a lot like Bob Dylans.

Not in how it sounds. But the fact that it's completely unique, and it doesn't have to be perfect or sound the best to be great.

I think Beck has a good voice, not the best, but there's something about it.
