  • GREAT!!! Show is fantastic.Best of ESC 2002.

  • Ayayayayayayayyyyy....... =)

  • This song wasn't a bad one, not at all. But it wasn't comparable to Malta's Seventh Wonder.

I'm afraid to say that all Latvia really had was a show.

Malta should have won that year.

It's a real shame Malta never won, simply because it has no neighbouring countries to vote for it.

  • Estonia, Latvia, Russia, Azerbaijan - The WORST Eurovision victories since 2000 till now!!!

Weak, forgetful songs... nothing more, nothing less...

  • @JeanLucNovotny

I see that someone has a envy.

  • @piileensmeitene Yeah, right... To be envy on what?! Victory? My country won the contest in 1989. when your country didnt even know what Eurovision is and had participated many years befor your country! To be envy on stupid song?! Must be joke if you are serious....

  • @JeanLucNovotny Hahahahaha. So? Mby my contry was under those stupid russians.

    Thats all.

  • @piileensmeitene Russians are not stupid and you were under Soviets not Russians... By the way my country back then was Yugoslavia like your were USSR - it's not like you didn't exist, you were part of it - You just blame Russians for everything :))) And that's stupid!

  • omg this sucks how did MALTA loose to this?! ooh ye it was held in a neighbour country -_-

  • @MrLee507 I see that someone has a envy.

  • @piileensmeitene a what!?

  • HORRIBLE song!

  • @Aleksander0525 U too.

  • Just to say that if Portugal didn't refused to participate that year, Latvia wouldn't be in that contest ;)

At least, Portugal, changed the Eurovision destiny one time :D

  • I would have loved to be able to read whatever she's singing :D She might know all these different languages but I think she's mixing them all together.... :p

  • This SUCKS! 2002 ESC is boring.

  • Fantastically great choreography! Brava!

  • is she singing in english?! :S

  • @kitsune87 I think :)

  • Не в обиду товарищам латышам, какая-то, ну-у, не запоминающаяся песенка, что ли... Сама Маша, кстати, ничего.)))

  • @WildGooseEk ничего, мы не обиделись:D

  • That's simple, but great! I like it veeery much

  • Sorry, I don't like this... One of the worst winner for me. :/

  • @fabianahungary who cares what you think now :D haha

  • @signezelte honey, you answered to my opinion... so you care... haha XD Lol

  • Super!Super!Super!

  • 0:30 look this finger!!

  • really sucks why can be greece give this 10 points????

  • Jeg elsker at høre dansk når jeg ikke forventer det:)

  • Excellent song, they sent better again in 2011 and it didn't even go in final ='(

  • And, it IS a pretty good song, and her accent is kinda adorable. Well deserved winner.

  • I love how it sounds like she sings "today you think you are the wiener". Hilarious! :D

  • it was the last Eurovision I enjoyed... these days seem to be gone...

  • I think the Eurovision was having its teen spots stage during this period and has since grown up quite a bit more. It was the old style and new style encroaching on each other. Traditionalists vs New European nations coming in. Enter televoting and extra showing off to catch attention of voters - eurovision was a slight mess! More of a dance-a-vision. Now I think its become amazing again we just need to sort the voting if we want a REAL song contest.

  • LOL to all of you... in that time, i think it all was about great show as it is today...in 2002 the show from Marrie N was very interesting and fun... of course, i think that Azerbaijan had completely no show and totally lame song... 2002 year winner isn't even compareable with this year's ...

  • you know Im studying at uni in england and live here for a long time now. Im sure my english is pretty good at this point... misspelling means nothing.

  • Seriously? This song actually the whole thing? But.. how? Was it a particularly bad Eurovision year in 2002?

  • she won because of the dress changing the song was horrible!! Malta deserved to win that year

  • This isn't a bad song and the performance was amazing, but i still sincerely think Malta should have won that year.

  • @Veruka311096

absolutelly agree... Im lithuanian, and my country stupidly voted for this song only because we neigbours... I was so for Malta... and 7th wonder!!

  • @safyriuke we neighbours :D:D:D:D:D:D learn english :D

  • she's still hot

  • @eastSideGlobal 2001 greece the best

  • id like to go away. but AIDS easier to say.

  • @europemale

Estonia was worst, and i bet you didnt even hear none of pre1980 winners...

  • I like the song and also the perfomance was original and entertaining so Latvia 12 points!

  • Hey evryone stfup about Malta should have won and didnt because it has no neightbors. I Love that Song and the perfomens was great. Im from germany and i think our Song wasnt that good but it had a happy feeling it was a party Song ppl like that and this Song has the Same feeling. And really a lot of countris vote for Germany and not all are our neightbors and Some of them could have hate us. I was quite surpriesed of Some who gave 12 points

Greetings from Germany and great Job latvia

  • I NEVER UNDERSTAND WHY SHE WIN EVEN MARLENE SONG WAS BETTER

  • this performance reminds me kinda of mr. moonlight by morning musume (and I don't want to read any comments about "japanese music coming from who knows where", please). I do love this kind of clothing partys <3 I liked this song in 2002 too \o/

  • @mrbritneyswomanizer No the worst ESC Winner is Dana International.

  • @pandzida98765 not at all. her win was a huge turn around in the types of songs winning eurovision, and was a major turning point in the LGBT rights campaign.

  • wats up with everyone sayng Malta should won? Say this at Malta 2002 song video...

  • malta should have won!

  • Bobbysocks all over again ;-). If UK can win with a clothing party, why not Latvia then ;-). Unforgettable and very typical Eurovision!

  • ai ai ai ai ai ai ai xDDD

  • erh.my ears!!

  • Laima Vaikule for poor?

  • malta totally deserved to win

  • @ratedRjes yeah but eurovision sucks. It is all about neighbours voting to eachother. And since malta`s neighbour is water, we are screwed(water cannot vote :(...)

  • Great! this is the last great song and the last great singer of the eurovision contest. Since then all is shit

  • This song is the same that she bangs (ricky martin 2000), Marie N she sing it better in the disk, she isn`t good in live.

  • μαλακια

  • @minamichey shut your greek ass..

  • Nice song :DD

  • Very good song

  • Yay Latvia and Lithuania,Estonia lthe best!

  • Utter crap!

  • How could that win??

  • @JanekBabe I can tell you! Because 2002 was the most boring contest ever. Every song was like the one before. Even worse than 2001. So she won, because her little "striptease". Those days i thought, the end of the language rule will kill the ESC. But after this crappy contest it got a little better...

  • @villy27 Yes but I must say that Malta & Estonia were much better in 2002.

    This song is so boring

  • nothing too special ...but the best that year!

  • malta should have won the eurovision!! ira losco had a much better song than THIS!!

  • this was one of mi faves that year

    im happy it won

    either this, Malta or Sweden

  • Comment removed

  • In retrospect, another song really should have won in 2002 (such as France, Malta or UK), just like Estonia shouldn't have won in 2001. But just like their neighbour, this one's got something going for it that may have swung it for them. Let's take into consideration that this type of song, a kind of latino-brass pop, must have sounded really fresh. Add to that the instant memorability of the routine and you've made an impression. Sure, the vocals (and the English) are atrocious but hey...

  • @setheurovision94 You're so right. I'm doing my final project, that you do in Sweden in either 11th or 12th grade. I'm doing mine now when I'm starting 12th grade. The project is to listen, analyze all winning songs in both Sweden's Song contest and in ESC. I've listened and analyzed 97(so far and got many to go) of the Song Contest winners. This is by far one of the worst as well as Estonia's in 2001. As you say they got a thing going, the latino-brass pop is a bit new, but it just get's wrong

  • @Sistersmf You mean that in Sweden, a part of your required education is to analyse all of Sweden's Eurovision entries as well as all winners? I mean, I knew Swedes love Eurovision but I've yet to hear of Eurovision-obsession at this level. Fascinating!

  • @setheurovision94 No in 11/12 grade you have a studycourse which is your special project. You can do more or less anything you want as logn as it is in the frames of the program you're attending(I'm studying music - that's why I chose something with music). Analyzing all winners is just me doing. I can do the statement I wrote to you since I have listened and analyzed winners the whole summer, and what I actually ment was that I agree with you. This song got a bit of new comp and stuff.

  • Right!

  • I'm from Latvia, but I have to admit I think Malta should have won.

  • Malta should have won

  • how she won?

  • look at her go! imagine if they grabbed the dress and ripped that off by accident... lol.

  • The song is average but I think the reason for the song winning the competition was the fantastic and memorable performance

  • this is a crime of nature... ira losco should have won, not this song. Did they get the lyrics from the back of a cereal box? It sure sounds that way. And they need a choregrefer. The dance looks like they need to go potty. And Ira was surely better

  • thankfully the last awful winner after 2001

  • Postcard is awesome

  • this is a ''sevillana'' i think . the last dress is a dress of gypsi from spain ¬¬ copycats

  • beautiful performance, one of my all time favorites !

look at the size of the stage !! and so few people ... surely eurovision has evolved through the years .. very heppy for that !

  • Ira should have won.

  • I wanna be the sunshine in your eyes....my favourite song ever.......

  • hahaha alle videoerne er fra Danmark's DR1

  • Ay Ay Ay Ay Ay Ay Ay Ay

  • OMG, amazing performance, average vocals, ordinary song. It's funny to see how everybody fell for this.

  • if only the men was naked as!well

  • latvia was the best that yeat god sack people!

  • Nice enough but don't see why it won.

  • Sweden was my favourite in 2002, but I still loved Latvia.

  • @mastermaestro

    it is year 2000

  • @wizinjsh No it's not, read the title.

  • WOW, it is so good, she is amazing!

  • ay, ay, ay, ay, ay! I liked the whole part, but especially the ending

  • The first of 3 (in a row) really deserved winner

  • UK, France and Malta had better songs than Latvia, but obviously the perfomance was more memorable

  • i don't like that...

  • yeah well great performance, but what an AWFUL song

  • not the best song in my opinion...UK is a better one!

  • The true winner of 2002 indeed, great performance and great song
