You have to root your phone firstly, then install a custom rom, at the moment its the MoDaCo roms that are only available. you have to start your phone in recovery mode and partition your sd card and create an Ext2 partition on which to install the apps. It will then auto install apps to the sd card for you.
@KDCW3534A Thanks for reaction. But then do we loose the phone's original ROM permanently. I mean if we do not like this ROM . can we restore original back..
Of course you can, you put the original rom onto the root of your sd card, its a folder named dload. If you have any problems you turn the phone off, then hold down the vol up and end call key and turn the power on, it will then reinstall your rom, its safe I have done these processes a number of times with no problems. Of course its your choice at the end of the day and its all at your own risk, I can only tell you my experience.
make sure you applied the december 2009 update before rooting though, then keep a copy of that update, its a zip file with a folder called dload and the rom is contained within it
Not that you will need to do the restore process I described, thats a last resort, as when you install superboot you have a recovery mode menu you can access by turning the power off, holding down menu and end call, power up and you enter recovery menu. Refer to the site I sent you the link to for full instructions, very helpful site
ive had this phone from october and apart from locking my dots security code, which you have to go through google to unlock this or in my case back to tmobile and back to huawei, and hence returned back to me,i have only 1 complaint and that is the camera without a flash, this is a letdown, but internet usage is great, and thats what these types of phones were biult for.HAPPY USER.
is that res right? 320x240? my vu only has a 3'' screen yet it's res is 240x400...I know Android's res is limited, but I know they have AMOLED screens on a couple Android devices..
iphone isz not all hype, yur crazy as h3ll,yur jus sayin that cuz alotta new shyt out....onli thing iphone need isz multitaskin....itsz already fast/smooth/look good/got thousands of apps to make it even more useful/got 1 of the biggest touchscreens for easier typing.....how dare yu tlk bad about iphone...knowin dam well that fone reeli cant be fucked wit right now...pic messagin or not! lol
they're trying to reach a larger market, not everyone can afford an iphone, this particular phone shown here isn't for the android enthusiast. It's for the average user. It will have a lower, more affordable price point that will be more appealing to said user. Smart, not stupid.
iPhone died long time ago homie sorry to burst your bubble but the iPhone is all hype it took how many years just to figure out picture messages wooooow lol
This phone better come out for the t mobile in america i mean i got so pissed off when the htc hero released on sprint and not t mobile but this should be in t mobile
To bad the screen is its downfall since EVERY application isn't proportioned to that size, so its essentially wearing a size 8 shoe when you're a size 10, its manageable, but its not appealing.
Not too sure what they're going to do with this thing but I also like it and its UI
Hopefully they loose the big screen and add a damn QWERY.
im pretty sure that the "every application proportioned to that size" problem wont happen since most developers use dynamic UI layout managers (rather than fixed ones to certain screen size) and if it happens im sure the devs will fix that (like the layout problems happened after updating to cupcake).
Anyway, what you're asking for is already in the market (htc g1) !!! it has smaller screen size and a keyboard
ahh i almost forgot, make sure to check out Motorola's new phone that has been announced today, called (cliq), you will find more details about it on phandroid(dot)com.
I posted that after I herd that 1.6 will actually solve that problem lol on the developers end 1.6 enables them to size there apps appropriately for other screens and resolutions so it will all work out.
i have this phone, he have a lot of bug ;) and problem tactile too

I have had this phone for a while now. Ive managed to root it and installed a custom ROM so I can now install apps to the SD card.
I know this is an entry level Android device but I know now that my next phone is definitely going to be an Android platform device without a doubt.

How did you get the apps to install in the SD card??

Sorry, but the size is exactly the same as on the HTC androids. At least pixel-wise. It's 320x480. It's the same, just the pixels are bigger.
