security forces are the air force's MP's their job is more keeping security of a designated place and the army MP's are more like a second infantry they do more patrol operations and escort convoys and such

Law Enforcement actually is better trained to handle certain situations like that. Consider it this way. You already have a fragile situation like that, now are you going to use a surgical tool such as swat or such, or a big fucking hammer like the military. Besides, the Posse Comitatus act prevents us from operating in such situations.

hey if you wanna talk about real soldiers im gonna have to say that the only real warriors are all of the special forces other then that i would have to say infantry then everything else such as mp's and all other group that are combatitive but really the only true warriors are special forces. MP's are basically infantry with wheels and more weapons these days. If you have noticed civilians have taken over the law and order role of MP's....or SF. I am an MP and we are armed to the teeth, train in urban warfare, mounted and unmounted tactics. It's a fun job, and we can still slap cuffs on soldiers :)
