@bot16 ...you think that your president Harry Truman who ordered use nuclear bomb on japanese civilian city was good?" Nope!
"Or George Bush who invade Iraq?" No way!
Or lately mr Obama with...robbed Libya from oil...to invade Iran?" I completely agree! The West, crammed full of blind Christian capitalists, commits atrocities everyday. This does not mean I am going to construct my own little commemorative concentration camp and ignorantly extol the virtues of the Third Reich, buddy ;)
@bot16 "...Hitler never gives an order to kills people in concentration camps." So you are saying that whole infrastructure of torture and death was carried out unauthorized, under Hitler's nose, behind his back? It seems like your fuher has a lot to learn about systemic genocide. The *first* thing they teach you in world domination is to ensure that no rogue subordinates finance and construct railways into death camps without proper paperwork ;)
@bot16 "Read "Hitlers war" of David Irving...Hitler never gives an order to kills people in concentration camps."
I prefer "Hitler's War" by Edwin P. Hoyt, wherein it details the ruthless murderings of your beloved fuher (zeig heil!) up close and personal. But if you like your version, all you are really saying is he was an idiot after all, not even knowing the death camps and ovens and gasses where being built/used. Hell the budgetary indiscretions alone would indicate he was a boob.
@bot16 "Yeaa.., its all Hitlers fault. You are forgeting taht there were some pepole below him." So you are saying that Hitler was incompetent, a rube, a tool, a puppet, a pawn, and the real power to carry out some of the worst atrocities against humanity lay beneath, this beyond the supreme commander's grasp. You can't have it all ways, bud.
@bot16 "Just because people considered Hitler as the baddie? Well it proves that he isnt as bad person as you may think"
Yeah something about millions of men, women, and children in starving in concentratjion camps treated worse than animals, and human ovens and piles of humans bodies in mass graves tends to turn one off to the varied and quaint charms of Adolph Hitler ;) LOLz
@bot16 Ok, you like (or think you do) to eat rotting flesh, right? It scares you deep inside (though it is masked on the surface as anger and hate) to consider a new way of life, because you only know the death and taste of rotting animals. I get it! I was there too once. For real. But relax, see your petty arguments for what they are, and thereby you will quiet down a bit, and in that stillness, if your intention is to know the truth, it will be there, guaranteed! Peace and light to you.
@bot16 Listen, I know you are afraid and biased and thus deperately want to prove that being vegetarian is wrong so you are will to hate and lie about it. I don't have time for those baby games. Sorry :(
@bot16 "that he wasn't such bad person as people may think" He was a man like any other. He acted with all the greed, ambition, jealousy and hate that is common to most men; the stars just so happen to align for Hitler to command one of the largest armies in the world.
@bot16 "And i also read many sources that proves " And yet you cannot paste a single one. The long, largely irrelevant quote you did show did not even say he was veg, but moving to it. I suppose he has to take daily side tracks of ham and stuffed pigeon while he figured it out.
@bot16 "Hitler was really vegetarian." Highly doubtful. Widely contested. Most evidence points to the contrary. And quite utterly meaningless either way. Right?
@bot16 Your quote did not state he was vegetarian. I have read from servant's journals right up until the end that clearly state he gorged on decadent meats daily. He lied, which apparently you believe, that he was on a hard, deprived road of a vegetarian but it was silly. Sorry.
What would this prove anyway? Most atrocities are committed by those who rape and torture animals and ingest diseased rotting corpses, right? Strange how Hitler still gets folks to believe his lies even in death.
Wow they're all famous AND vegan?! So if I go vegan maybe I'll be famous!!! Well on second thought, maybe I won't bother trying to justify my lifestyle based on whether or not celebrities share my eating habits. LoL
@INbredMonarchy "won't bother trying to justify my lifestyle based on whether or not celebrities share my eating habits." Agreed. But if you'd drop the childish hateful mocking attitude for a sec you may see that it's not about justifying lifestyle through celebrities. It's about this notion that vegans are crazy kooks relegated to obscure segments of society, when in fact vegans everywhere have changed the world! There are 2 news ones on the list too: Bill Clinton, Mike Tyson.
@Atheogen And Hitler indulged in ham every night, after his "vegetarian dinner" according to his servant's journal.
I always get a chuckle from those who will argue vehemently against Einstein being veg, despite life long support of it and documented evidence in his later years that he was, but they always like to play the "Hitler card" with no evidence whatsoever. Funny they cling to this lie, as that was what Hitler was all about: getting stupid peeps to believe his lies.
@yvonnecad Not true! I know someone who is a vegetarian and it's not that a great person, cause being a vegetarian isn't hard for her but making the things correctly for others and don't act like what she want's and it is good her is what matters.

@sclaysdharma being a former monk myself, having attended various interfaith meetings with monks from many practices, including Tibetan monks, I have realized that there are those Tibetan monks who seriously practice as appose to those who don't seriously practice. There are many that are vegetarian who advocate eating meat is bad karma.
@haridham Be assured that there ARE Tibetan monks who seriously practice and are not vegetarians and do not believe that this leads to bad karma. And as to vegetarians who advocate eating meat , I am not one of those.
@sclaysdharma I understand what you mean about the Tibetan monks. However their philosophy and scripture as indicated to me by those who properly practice that eating meat does lead to bad karma. Why not check out my video. Is eating meat bad karma? /watch?v=ytEz2GQOVNk
@haridham " One may regret living at a period when it's impossible to form an idea of the shape the world of the future will assume. But there's one thing I can predict to eaters of meat: the world of the future will be vegetarian."
- Adolf Hitler. November 11, 1941. Section 66, HITLER'S TABLE TALK
@sclaysdharma Well from the same Wikipedia article you mentioned states conflicting information stating that Hitler was infact a meat eater. Dione Lucas, recalling her pre-World War II stint as a hotel chef in Hamburg, Germany, states: 'I do not mean to spoil your appetites for stuffed squab, but you might be interested to know that it was a great favorite with Mr. Hitler, who dined at the hotel often. Let us not hold that against a fine recipe though.'"
@sclaysdharma Hitler spoke German, too. Does that mean all German-speaking people are evil? Of course not.The truth is that one person's actions, no matter how insane, do not represent the philosophies of entire groups to which he may momentarily belong.
@haridham Wow!, do I really need to spell this out for you? It's to show how great vegetarians are. If you are a vegetarian, then you are great or "famous". Guilt by association. One of the flaws to logical thinking. That makes about as much sense as making a video showing famous non-vegetarians, therefore implying meat eating leads to fame. That would be quite pointless. Don't you think?
@sclaysdharma Wow you really misread what i stated didnt you? Quite worked up dont you think? Show me where I stated to show how great vegetarians are? I stated to show famous vegetarians not famous for being vegetarian. Instead of spelling things out for people, why not pay attention first.
@haridham Not worked up, just tired of seeing people lead to an experimental, sub-optimal diet that has no basis from a human evolutionary or survival standpoint. I did pay attention, my friend, and that is how this type of video comes across.
@sclaysdharma" Not worked up, just tired of seeing people lead to an experimental, sub-optimal diet that has no basis from a human evolutionary or survival standpoint"
Thats your opinion, however that had nothing to do with the video or the argument regarding hitler being vegetarian, or the statement you made which you stated I stated that you are great or famous for being vegetarian, which you brought up. Now you are simply deflecting the subject.
@haridham No, but just because one of the good people in the video is a vegetarian doesn't mean all vegetarians are good, or that vegetarianism is better than meat eating
I clicked on this video because I have been vegan for a little over a month and I have discovered some freakin' amazing vegan recipes and I have lost all the weight I gained during pregnancy (and more) for a total of 45 lbs!! My baby is 3 months old.
@terrillcase1 People become vegetarians for a lot of reasons, "curing stuff" isn't one. You can't cure diseases through eating. And being a vegetarian isn't boring, there's a lot of really tasty vegetarian food out there; besides food is meant to keep you alive, not entertain you.
This video somehow made my morning. Knowing that Ziggy Gandhi Jack Johnson Tracy Chapman...some of my favorite people are vego inspires me to stay vego :-) thankyou. X :~) bless.
There is no such thing as healthy meat. It all has cholesterol and your bodies need for this is 0%. It is a poison. So if you prefer the poison in fish to the poison in cow, that's up to you. Of course, you are not to blame for all of the brainwashing we have all gone through that has established our beliefs. As for the famous people on the video, why is this the first time I am hearing of them being vegan/vegetarian? Why not use their position to speak up?
I have heard every argument that the vegi crowd has to offer and I don't buy it. That said having enough dark leafy greens and fruits in your diet will do wounders for your body, but that in no way excludes healty meats like fish and venison in modaration . Not all of us meat eaters are lined up at McDonalds for a big mac, that place makes me ill.
you have asked me about Hitler let me tell you I am Indian so we had a pack with HItler in the second world war,And lot many people got their freedom thanks to Hitler because he broke the backbone of the econmy of the UK.And His time was the peck of Industry. he pushed his scincefic team to the extream and they were able to make many discoveres,Russians used his Rocket technology.Amercia used his air craft technology.Becaue he lost the war that is why people talk bad about him .
@rajwantmann Why is it that people like you always put HITLER as if ,Hitler were the standard for evil? What about BUSH? What about his father Bush Sr.? What about Nixon? All of this American leaders have some kind of blood in their hands.Innocent little children's had died because of their actions. And lets not forget that asshole Reagan.
ALL MEAT EATERS , IN CASE OF SMALL ANIMALS, CONSUME ITS SHIT, URINE, SEMEN, BLOOD, VOMIT, PUS, ANUS, PUSSY AND ALL THE FILTH THE ANIMAL HAS EATEN. AND THEY CLAIM IT TASTES BETTER THAN VEGETABLES !...UNBELIEVABLE ! PLEASE THUMBS UP IF YOU ARE OR WANT TO BECOME A VEGETARIAN.
Bob Beck didn't like vegetarians which is sort of funny to me. When I was a vegetarian I was all stressed out because I hate cooking beans or whatever. I think to each his own. A little organic meat is good for you. Especially chicken!
DUDEE!!! Great video, but...where`s Morrissey???? He`s probably one of the best know vegetarians` from the 80s!! Not to mention you forgot Chi Cheng, from Deftones.
@KJBman777 Alright, explain this to me then. Jesus is the son of god. God makes animals to be eaten, according to you. He then also makes them feel pain. If they were meant to be eaten why make them feel pain? One of the 10 commandments is "you shall not murder." Why would a compassionate and loving god make an animal able to feel everything humans can, then kill it. Doesn't make sense.
@zosothedestroyer Do you really believe that Jesus is the Son of God? God did not originally make animals to be eaten. Only after the fall of man has there been the suffering we see in the world and animals are now allowed to be eaten - big difference if you understand the Biblical way of thinking. Note the following verse: "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned" (Romans 5:12).
@zosothedestroyer Killing animals for meat is not "murder". People have redefined the word "murder" because they wrongly place animals in the creation.
@KJBman777 ENCERIO CREES EN DIOS NO ES KE NO CREA PERO NO TE PARECE ILOGICO KE EL EXISTIA PERO NO EL UNIVERSO Y KE UNA MUJER TENGA IJOS DEL ESPIRITU SANTO JAJAJ ANTES NO CREIAMOS EN EL POR KE OTRAS CIVILISACIONES LAS INCULTARON CREEN SE REALISTA
Veggie farms around the world from USA, EUROPE,Australia Africa used to have millions and billions of animals but since the land became veggie land the animals on that land are extinct. Thanx peta and vegetarians for killing billions of animals! When peta comes to NAMIBIA to take pics of wild animals they have to do this on conservationist properties and trophy farms. If they visit the veggie farms they will go back home with hardly any pics of animals.
Lolz Meat Loaf is not a vegetarian this is from his bio 'Was a vegetarian for 15 years but then decided to eat meat. His favorite meat is pork chops.'
Don't think meat loaf is, unless he just recently started. He was on a show where chefs, something like beverly hills chefs cooked him actual meat loaf and he ate it with his family.
kinda funny my mom made me a cheeseburger with everything on it letuce pickel onions mustard ketchup double cheese she forgot the burger and i didnt even notice it after i ate it
Absolutely awesome. Wow, with names like DaVinci and Einstein, makes you glad to be in such great company. What would I rather? Be a name on a list of awesome brainiacs who made the world something? Or be a name on a list of people who don't connect with what's on their plate and contribute to cruelty, pollution and land degradation? Hmm, let me think.
@Cteeal Ha. There were more famous normal people than vegitarins. Most of the people here were just actors and such. Besides there are names that should be in your list you wouldnt want there. Like Hitler.
@africandude1 Hilarious. Considering Hitler's favourite food was liver dumplings. And he loved to have ham and eggs every day for lunch. Excellent job. Well done you. You are highly intelligent.
They cure lots of illness like diabetes and Lupus and only live on donations, they are Buddhists and one named John Tao is a genius!why are doctors not so good?. They cured two friends of mine!that had no hope...
Wiki Gorillas, elephants, rhinos, etc. to see how they eat compared to how big and strong they are. We've grown up on packaged foods so eating raw vegan seems bizarre but science shows that enzymes in food carry nutrients and cooking food kills enzymes. Pets eat cooked foods and are the only animals having human diseases. If I'm going to be a vegan I think I'll go Raw vegan after this night looking at so many You Tube vids supporting it...why not, I may feel better. Thanks for this video.
Great video and proud to be a vegetarian myself. We have really gone back in time with a few of these great names in vegetarian history. I would really have loved to seen the guys from the classic rock band Boston mentioned in this video (who initially inpired me to become a vegetarian). So as these names have failed to show up in the video, he's my recognition to Tom Scholz, Gary Pihl and the late Brad Delp of the band Boston.
I'm seriously considering becoming vegetarian again and it helps to see some of these big names who have also taken the stance. Meat-eaters (some of them may be reading!) complain about us but it's not my intention to become a militant vegetarian. I love animals and it makes sense to me to not want to hurt them or put my appetite before their wellbeing. I don't want to convert anyone, I just think I'd be happier as vegetarian. Nutrition-wise it takes more attention but I think it's worth it.
Just some of the evolved, intelligent, creative, deep, beautiful (inside & out) human animals, that consciously choose not to harm or eat our gentle animal brothers & sisters. Vegos think for themselves, are not blind followers, have courage enough to be individuals/a minority. If you're doing it for health alone, it may be harder to stick with, but if you do it because you really love & respect animals (as I do) it's very natural & EASY. KUDOS & love to all vegans & aspiring vegos .. be proud.
@carven2004eca What I did was start with taking out beef first (which I loved and grew up with). I still ate chicken and turkey for a while. Then once you're used to no beef, take out another one. Everyone needs their own pace - there's not a right or wrong timeline. Do what you're comfortable with. For me it took about 2 years from starting with no beef to no meat. I do still eat some fish though, but I'm working on less of that now.
Truely man is the king of beasts, for his brutality exceeds theirs. We live by the death of others: we are burial places! I have from an early age abjured the use of meat, and the time will come when men such as I will look on the murder of animals as they now look on the murder of men
Good job... Keep it going 3

To Lukethibodaux,
There is no such thing as healthy meat.

Leo Tolstoj was NOT vegetarian. If you need a list, ok, make one, but at least make it properly.

Bob Beck didn't like vegetarians which is sort of funny to me. When I was a vegetarian I was all stressed out because I hate cooking beans or whatever. I think to each his own. A little organic meat is good for you. Especially chicken!

Not only did Jesus eat fish (NOT a so-called mistranslation!) but He also ate the Passover lamb. Some people have no idea about the Bible.
KJBman777 5 months ago
@KJBman777 Alright, explain this to me then. Jesus is the son of god. God makes animals to be eaten, according to you. He then also makes them feel pain. If they were meant to be eaten why make them feel pain? One of the 10 commandments is "you shall not murder." Why would a compassionate and loving god make an animal able to feel everything humans can, then kill it. Doesn't make sense.
zosothedestroyer 5 months ago
@zosothedestroyer Do you really believe that Jesus is the Son of God? God did not originally make animals to be eaten. Only after the fall of man has there been the suffering we see in the world and animals are now allowed to be eaten - big difference if you understand the Biblical way of thinking. Note the following verse: "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned" (Romans 5:12).
KJBman777 5 months ago
@KJBman777 You didn't answer my question there bud. Can you try and actually talk like a human being instead of an evangelical robot?
zosothedestroyer 5 months ago
@zosothedestroyer Killing animals for meat is not "murder". People have redefined the word "murder" because they wrongly place animals in the creation.
KJBman777 5 months ago
@KJBman777 so its cool for your god to willingly inflict pain and suffering in the form of killing and eating animals?

Veggie farms around the world from USA, EUROPE,Australia Africa used to have millions and billions of animals but since the land became veggie land the animals on that land are extinct. Thanx peta and vegetarians for killing billions of animals! When peta comes to NAMIBIA to take pics of wild animals they have to do this on conservationist properties and trophy farms. If they visit the veggie farms they will go back home with hardly any pics of animals.
Peta and vegans are mass murderers!

KUDOS & love to all vegans & aspiring vegos .. be proud.

How do I become a vegetarian? What steps should I follow to do it right?
carven2004eca 8 months ago
@carven2004eca What I did was start with taking out beef first (which I loved and grew up with). I still ate chicken and turkey for a while. Then once you're used to no beef, take out another one. Everyone needs their own pace - there's not a right or wrong timeline. Do what you're comfortable with. For me it took about 2 years from starting with no beef to no meat. I do still eat some fish though, but I'm working on less of that now.

Eating other creatures might have been a necessary stage in the
evolution of man. But, do we need to do it now?
If we had to slaughter our own meals, I think people would
understand the pain & cruelty associated with meat eating.
It's an evolutionary step for man to abstain, otherwise are we
humans better than the creatures we eat?
If an advanced 'alien' society chose to eat man, just because
they are more mentally advanced, would that be acceptable
to you, if you became a 'big mac'?
fntime 8 months ago
@fntime I agree. I don't want to become a "big mac"

@LusineSafaryanFu Really? so why did he said this:
Truely man is the king of beasts, for his brutality exceeds theirs. We live by the death of others: we are burial places! I have from an early age abjured the use of meat, and the time will come when men such as I will look on the murder of animals as they now look on the murder of men
