i think this is an amazing album. it's the first at the drive-in album i heard. i still think that the energy that they had live is captured on this album better than on any other of theirs. it changed the way i listen to music. the reggae influence is really cool and subtle. the musicianship is amazing, and not show boaty like on some mars volta stuff.
the song order has an amazing flow, and the energy is almost unrelenting in the most agreeable way. it's over produced, but fuck,i love it.
Yeah, it was over produced, but almost in a good way. I find the energy and songs to be really infectious. Fun to listen to in a car or maybe in your case , a tour van.
never got into this. don't know why. i remember when a bunch of my friends saw wu tang and rage against the machine and at the drive in opened up. everybody was going nuts for them. maybe i always just felt like the band belonged to my friends. nice review!
In Casino Out is better. Just saying.

Pretty good review. I think I liked Casino better, but RoC sounded "cleaner", "friendlier" no doubt.

Hey, I requested this album!
Anyway, I think the production sounds perfect. Arcarsenal on good speakers is the best thing I've ever heard.

Yeah, the production was really good. ATDI got me through some pretty musically bleak times in my life.
