So, how can you chain that long? Is there a pattern you have to follow?

well with swarming pokemon like this, the encounter rate is 40% so it's pretty easy to get to 40. That's your goal for chaining, because at 40 and above the chances of seeing a shiny patch is 1 in 50. You can search on youtube for how to chain videos.

Thanks, but I would think your 3 shiny patches in one reset is more rare than seeing 2 shiny patches in a row. This BTW has happened to me 8 times now, most recent was this morning on my Magneton chain.

So I don't think it's that rare since I haven't seen a 3 shiny patches reset yet, most I saw is 2 and of course the occasional 2 in a row encounter.

Krabby is not version exclusive. I'm assuming you already have either Diamond or Pearl. If not then, just wait until you get Platinum :)

but you have to go fishing to get krabby in them i beleve. so you cannot chain it xD

nope Krabby is in swarm for all DPP versions. Corphish is the one you have to fish.

Chances for Krabby are 40% so just stick to the rule of chaining and you'll get your own shiny Krabby very soon
