you play very well dude but you just need to improve the feeling you give to each note, try to use some softer vibrato on resting notes, try to make it sound 'warmer'. Very good technique you have though... just work that out (: peace
It's been 4 years since I made this video, I've improved quite a lot since then. The way I play now is quite different from back then. Controlling the vibrato is one of the things I took care of! ^^
I like the bend down on the B string 14th fret at the end of the run. I'm a fan of bending down, not on the high E though, get's a bit twangy lol.
Question: I'm still struggling with the little run which starts at about 32s on your vid - do you up/down/up/down with the pick, or do you stroke the pick upwards? What would you recommend? Or is it a hammer on/off scenario?
Good solo man...some of your pitches arent exactly right. The frets are right but there are a few notes that sounds like they either got an unintentional bend or even the string is out of tune.
Hey claykilr03, all right lets see you play then smart ass. Think your so good posting comments about how people suck. Its pretty obvious that this guy dosen't suck and i bet that he would shred you any day of the week
did you have the problem where you had to change your drive from PIO to DMA for the gearbox program to work properly? if you did couldyou tell me how you changed it?
a little late at times but great!

it sounds good but...try to use your guitar's tone controls...use neck pickup with tone around 5 to sound like the original song
germanu 3 years ago
Hi,
Nowadays I always turn my Tone knob down, till 0 - 2 or something like that, really gives that Fade To Black sustain sound, as you said.
Thx for the comment ;) i will soon post a new vid. ( with the Tone knob down).

nice man, would you reccomend an sg to someone who plays metal? are those the stock pickups?
piero224 3 years ago
The most important thing for metal is the amplifier.
acdgui 3 years ago
yeah i have a randall g3 100 watt, and im pretty saisfied with it, but still the pickups with high output give you good pinch harmonics.
