  • His words have as much meaning and impact today as that day in Montgomery in 1965 ....How Long? Not Long!

  • I'm a white male, 26 years old. I listen to the words of this man and gain great relief. Why? Racism was proposed of fear. Fear that man would unite and shed the oppressive chains that bind us all. That's right. Black, White, Green, We Are All Slaves Now. Slaves to a society that tells us to hate what we fear. But they fear us; together; as one. Martin Luther King jr. has some words that need to be taken very seriously. He lays solidarity to the fact that truth shall always prevail. Truth=Love

  • THE NEXT TIME A BLACK, DRIVING TO A JOB HE CANT PERFORM..GIVeN TO HIM BECAUSE HE HS BLACK..WITH A DEGREE HE DIDNT EARN, LIVING 1000x BETTER THAN ANY BLACK IN AFRICA..THEN USING "SLAVERY" AS AN EXCUSE 145 YEARS AFTER IT WAS OVER...NEEDS TO BE LAUGHED OUT OF THE ROOM

  • @871yt f*** off dumba**

  • Every race or culture has there own weaknesses, where ones are strong the others are weak, so the differences is a real advantage if it was look that way from the beginning, the problem that we have today is not cause by color is cause of human behavior and the supreme ignorance.

  • My Hero

  • i want Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. back!!!!!

  • Viva el Rey

  • Thank you God for King.

  • he is just.... amazing. God sent him. God sent us an angel and people were awful to him and someone killed him. it makes me sick. God gives us beautiful gifts that we need to appreciate.

  • @atlantishpdream1634 That happens to all men that want to do good on earth, it happens all over the world from the start of everything. and i bet you when Jesus returns they will try to kill him , the same way erodes try , from the beginning.

  • "No lie can live forever." Martin L King Jr.

  • Good job servant of God.

  • Hope everyone has a great MLK Day. Remember the King and All Equality !

  • @Superdrummerboy92 equality is an illusion. There will never be real racial equality because nature and genes have drawn indelible lines of distinction between blacks and whites.

  • Preach!!!!!! Doc!!!!!!!

  • Timeless words which still ring true today! These words still resonate and continue to give the clarion call to continue to fight for justice!

  • Thank you Dr. King. You are a giant among men!!!

  • This is not about white or black but this is about trying to make this world a little more tolerable during a time of intolerance... We should continue to speak out against injustice no matter the race, sex, financial class and embrace our heroes for trying to do something that most of us are too frightened to do...hey speak out against injustice toward children, toward the poor, toward the elderly...don't criticize what you have never tried.

  • Tell me. when do the 35,000 White Americans killled by blacks in the USA in the past 10 years alone get a holiday? When do we get a memorial for the destruction of Detroit, Newark, Philadelphia St. Louis and Chicago by black crime, and black dysfunction?

  • @871yt first off when do the world get a holiday for how white people stole the culture from under everyone else and enslaved everyone else tell me when does the world get a holiday for how white people destruction of stealing of killing and of lying there way to the top you people are the devil's children tell me why you were even put on the face of the earth

  • Can you dig ett!

  • NOW WOULD BE GOOD !OH GREAT GOD !THANKS MR KING !

  • Jackie Kennedy hated Martin Luther King so much she could barely look at photographs of him.

In interviews taped in 1964 but only just released, she said the black civil rights leader was a ‘terrible man’ and a ‘phoney’.

She claimed King bragged of being drunk at her husband John F Kennedy’s funeral and had been caught trying to set up an orgy.

'I just can’t see a picture of Martin Luther King without thinking, you know, that man’s terrible,’ she said.

  • @wiseBRILLIANTgenius and i cant look at her without a cock being in her mouth or taking it in the ass what a sorry slut

  • There Goes an Alphaman! The Drum major of peace.

  • he he was alive in the today he would be a rap star ..

  • This is a great speech. It could have come from Malcolm X. I love this speech

  • HOW LONG, THE LIE IS THAT THE NORTH(USA) KEPT ALL THE BLACK FOLKS IN THE SOUTH SO THEY COULD MAKE THEY NORTHERN FOLKS RICH AFTER THE CIVIL WAR. THE BLACKS DIDN'T WANT TO STAY IN THE SOUTH BUT THE USA GOVERNMENT MADE THEM STAY THERE. THE NORTHERN STATES DIDN'T WANT ALL THOSE BLACKS TAKING THEIR JOBS.

  • @comptonproduction You're acting as if it is still that way, it's not.

  • @sPazzYx1 ijust stating history and the truth. I don't think you can handle the truth.

  • one of the greatest Americans to ever live

  • @ufo5147 AMEN

  • "How long, not long, because the arc of the universe bends towards justice."

    awesome to the Nth degree

  • @WhiteWeasel420 Why are you spreading your message of hate on all the MLK speeches? Carry your trolling to some kkk channel.

  • @WhiteWeasel420 Its evident that the non whites are needed

your family needs a more diverce gene pool obviously

    (im calling you inbred)

  • how long? not long. cause my eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the lord.

    ~the best

glory hallelujah glory hallelujah glory hallelujah

  • Wasn't Jesus an extremist of love? Wasn't King one, too? Both they ended at the "cross"!

  • Very powerful speech thank you.

  • i love how the band Rage against the machine said " how long not long cause what you reap is what you sow" in the song wake up great song and great band together witha great man

  • @bigpayne10 Zach De La Rocha has a tattoo of MLK on his arm.

  • In assisting my clients i see a consistent problem with legal injustice. What a motivational speech for this dilema. How long? Not long!

  • Those who love the truth will enjoy this truth that Dr. King bodly proclaimed, but those who love a lie will despise it and hate.

  • yes sir

  • My dad use to say that all the time when were growing up. "How long?" "Not long!"

  • His Truth is Marching on!!

  • Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Had the courage of a million men.

It is sad to see that this video has less hits than a justin bieber video.

The truth is more important than entertainment. the masses need to wake up from there deep sleep .

  • @lexbonell I AGREE WITH YOU the media has us distracted from the truth

  • All humans are capable of this type of thinking and speaking. I for one am grateful for this one man to have shown this fact with class and conviction. This was truly a great man.

  • who's the man on his left?

  • Martin Luther King is encoded in the King James Bible several times.

See the Aimed At America 2 video on youtube for examples.

  • Search for rockypallo on YouTube.

  • His truth is marching on

  • Truly is an inspiration of how much goodness is inside each and every human. No matter the amount of darkness around us, no matter the amount of oppression, and no matter the amount of wickedness the Light always overcomes the Darkness.

  • What's with that one guy who's interrupting him at :04, :15, :19, :28, :47, 1:18, 1:41, and 1:43. MLK gets interrupted a lot by a group of people (the crowd?), but each of these times it's one person who randomly interjects with "Yes, sir" and "no sir". This is the most powerful speech I've ever heard, but this guy is really bugging me.

  • @Mahacanda That's when the decons and members in the black baptist church agreeds with the peacher by saying Yes sir or Aman. When thay are filling good at what the paster is saying. My family would say it all the time before thay start shouting PEACE AND LOVE

  • @Mahacanda That's when the decons and members in the black baptist church agreeds with the peacher by saying Yes sir or Aman. When thay are filling good at what the paster is saying. My family would say it all the time before thay start shouting. I was in the 11th grade when MLK The Prience Of Peace was killed, What a sad day.Thay was'ent interrupting him they was feeling good (smile) WITH LOVE AND PEACE

  • - yes, it's also clear that Pres. Obama is not yet governing in a manner that Dr. King could (at this point in Pres. Obama's tenure) support or endorse. Mr. Obma needs to have a comprehensive agenda for poor Americans in generals and poor Blacks and minority specifically. He doesn't seem to think that that is a priority for him unfortunately.

  • have u guys seen the movie selma lord selma the guy look just like dwight howard

  • thoes r my relegins

  • rascim is wrong

  • Glory Hallelujah in the name of Jesus his truth is marching no.

  • The best speech.

God bless you MLK, we really need you today :(

  • @georgep922 actually he needs us!

  • @georgep922 As I watched this, I had the same feeling. We could use this man today,

  • @georgep922 MLK came and went, thank God for what he was used to do. However, we need God more than ever today. God is awaiting us to call on Him. I'm calling on You Jesus; Show Yourself to our world. They need You more than ever today. Show us our need for You.

  • I´m fell very touched when i see the powerfull words of rev Martir L. King. i Think taht your ideas and your exemplo never will be lost. I´d like the new generations follow just a bit of your fight for human rights

  • Nothing pains some people more than having to think.

    *Dr. King

  • One of the most powerful speakers of all time... coupled with a stand for civil rights? You get this legendary, unforgettable genius... Martin Luther King Jr.

  • 13 people will never know freedom

  • @kevinhagan17 i'd say millions will not know.

  • Great video!!!

  • One of the greatest speeches ever to come forth in defense of truth and justice

  • Mesmerising- hypnotic- inspiring. RIP Dr King, your loss is our eternal sadness. x

  • thank u uploader wonderful video

  • Thanks for this video!

  • His truth is marching on. God says this; "I have seen the oppression of my people, and I have heard their cry.". You will find this in Exodus Chapter 3. There he sent Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as a savior in The United States to bring Christ and the Government together, but why does our government want to take God out of their government after all that Christ and Dr. King Jr. has done for them? someone please tell me this!

  • The arc of the moral universe is long but it bends towards justice.

  • @MrAmerica406. Let's get deeper than Dr. MLK....Look at the cycle of life from the womb to the very old.... Look at nature and the seasons how they change, the bible says the seasons will not cease(GEN 8:22). Look at the structure of the human body this great machine, that man cannot reinvent, they have tried but failed.

  • @smoton2 i dont understand what you mean when they say they cannot reinvent the body.

the only thing that cannot be reinvented (yet) is the brain, simply because it is incredibly complex. seasons will not cease because the earth is on a constant orbit around the sun, which creates the seasons. and age is an inevitability in any organism, everything dies as cells deteriorate over time, as does the body's ability to reproduce cells.

  • @impregnatedcamel WHAT DRIVES ALL THESE THINGS TO EXIST, IT COMES FROM THE ONE FORCE THAT WE KNOW AS GOD!! THINGS JUST DON'T APPEAR. THEY WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO REINVENT, MAKE ANOTHER, TRY TO DO OVER - THESE THINGS THAT YOU MENTION CANNOT BE DUPLICATED TO THE ORIGINAL MAKINGS....THERE IS NO WAY. THERE IS A GOD IN MY BOOK!

  • @impregnatedcamel -COLOSIANS 1:16-20 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.

  • @smoton2 dont quote random passages from the bible its just a book; it doesnt prove somethings existance. harry potter is a book, i dont see anyone being a harry potterite. and dont get all crazy with the caps lock shouting. things exist because of scientific flukes and explainable reactions to events. never be able to re-invent? what do you call cloning? humans, plants and cells. one day, everything will be re-created with science, which will one day eradicate the worst plague of all: religion.

  • @FurtheringPhilosophy Brothers and Sisters of Malcolm X? I am a son/child of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad. We make the mistake as those who worship Jesus over God. TMH Elijah Muhammad is the man you should be studying and getting to know. It probably would further your Philosophy. There are 3 books you should purchase and read. The Message to the Blackman; Our Saviour has arrive; The Fall of America. Malcolm X could only assist in an autobiography and maybe a collection of speeches.

  • Your Legacy leaves on MLK!

  • Martin Luther King is my hero. Each time I replay one of his speeches I'm deeply inspired and moved and astonished at his eloquence and charisma. I feel chills down my spine and often wipe away a tear. It should be the mission of all of us to work to achieve his vision of social justice and harmony, not just in the United States but in the Middle East and Africa, indeed the entire world.

  • How long? Not long! Because what your reap is what you sow!

  • How could 13 people not like King's speech.

  • Wow what a beautiful message. Because you will reap what you sow. My God. Very eloquent speech.

  • It's such a shame that the newest generation of black males idolizes men like 50 Cent and 2Pac rather than this amazing, brilliant man. I think he would be sick if he saw what had come of his dream.

  • R.I.P. Dr. Martin Luther King a real hero and a great man.

  • This is more than an awesome speech, it is a moving of the Holy Spirit among the people of America.....listen as he says, "Glory Hallelujah--Glory Hallelujah--Glory Hallelujah"!!! You hear the highest praise to God go up as the crowd goes into a raucous roar"!!!

  • @1jmasonthebarber chill out, that's not any different than "god bless america," "go jets," or "allah akbar"

  • God rest his soul.

  • Human beings are 99.9 percent the same DNA, now that u all know that, can u please tell me does everybody in america need glasses!

  • Beautiful.

  • If it is true that the ark of the universe is long and it bends toward justice it is because men and women of reason and compassion have grabbed it and bent it.

  • @SamWiseGingy That may be true. But if it is true, it's true by natural selection. And natural selection is the long bending ark of the universe.

  • THIS SPEECH TOUCHES MY HEART DEEPLY

I HAVE SEEN THINGS THAT ARE VERY SERIOUS

    GOD BLESS MARTIN LUTHER KING!

  • I Think We Have Reach The Mountain Top.Doctor Kings Wife Said It Best At The DNC,When She Saw Presedent Barack Obama Speak,Her Response Was,There Is Our First Black Presedent,And Guest What She Was Right. Doctor King Wasn't Able To Get To The Mountain Top With Us,But His Dream Came True. What A Great Man.Happy Birthday Doctor King May Your Sole Rest In Pease.

  • AMAZING MAN, AMAZING LEGACY, I MISS HIM!!!!!!

  • if it wasnt for MLK i wouldnt be here today! im biracial and my parents would have never met if Martin luther king didnt dedicate his life for all of us! GOD BLESS HIM!

  • @soulgirls22 what does biracial have to do with anything??? in fact is that even a good thing

  • GOD BLESS YOU MLK JR, you did so much for us, Thank You!!!!!! Glory, Hallelujah!!

  • NO LIE CAN LIVE FOREVER!!!! I WISH ALL PEOPLE WOULD LISTEN TO THIS SPEECH!!! HAPPY B DAY MLK!!!

  • as a black gay man i see this message as timeless and true. LGBT citizens in America and beyond should be inspired by the words - 'cause lies never stand for long.

  • How long? Not long! Because no lie can live forever!

  • @AmyPeacemaker How long? , Not long! Because the Arc of the Moral Universe is long , but it bends toward Justice!!!

  • Truth will prevail!! Won't be long. God is with us.

  • @breezy3291 there is no god, its called rothchild Zionism. If there was a god, he would have fixed this shit A LONG time ago. Or he would have done a better job with his "creation". Give me a fucking break, religion and books are nothing more then control mechanism's. WAKE UP sheeple

  • @ha38bb1 what a disgraceful remark you insult Dr King Lemuel Penn Fannie Lou Hamer and so many others!!

  • @ha38bb1 Glory Hallelujah! His truth is marching on!

  • @breezy3291

    xD

A bit of a contradiction there.

  • Jesus is King!!!!

  • @dancingloafers Sorry, but I prefer democracy.

  • happy day

  • Amen.

  • Only God can save us humans from our own savagery.

  • Psalm 6:2-4 (New King James Version) 2 Have mercy on me, O LORD, for I am weak; O LORD, heal me, for my bones are troubled. 3 My soul also is greatly troubled; But You, O LORD—how long? 4 Return, O LORD, deliver me! Oh, save me for Your mercies’ sake!

  • A friend of mine was in Montgomery for this speech. "The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice" is one of my all-time favorite quotes. It gives me great hope.

  • What would MLK say about sear7327's comment? That MLK's vision is only carried out through people like Barack Obama and regular folks who are willing to do the work necessary to move us towards justice and peace. MLK didn't want to be put on a pedestal, but to help motivate people to get involved in shaping this country for the better -- which is exactly what Barack Obama is willing to do?

The question is, are we as ready as MLK and Obama to do the necessary work to shape our future?

  • Happy Birthday.

  • "How long? NOT LONG... "

  • Revelation 22:20 CJB

"The one who is testifying to these things says, 'Yes, I am coming soon!'" Amen! Come, Lord Yeshua!

  • Take your Obama and shove him. President Obama can not be and should not be compared to the work, intelligence, and vision of Dr. King. RIP MLK and may your dream and work become alive and truer.

  • i dont care if i am white black mexican asian or anyother "race" i am part of the one tru race the human race and this man has been one of my biggest role models throughout not just my life but my faith as well

  • @Japheth19 you better decide because there is only one true race gods chosen people race which is black

  • @Fdeshaun1 That is one of the stupidest things I have ever heard. You need help man

  • @Japheth19 bitch white people need to die ALL THE WAY

  • @Fdeshaun1 How dare you come on a video that gives honor to such a great man, and post stuff like that, which directly contradicts what he was preaching. If you want to talk like that, go on a Malcolm X video.

  • DREAM ACT NOW!

  • The speech was so powerful that it will out last the film that it was recorded on, yet be as relavent as if he gave it 100 years in the future, that says it's endorsed by God all over it because only Gods endosements are timeless!

  • Martin was a great man, I put him right after Jesus.

  • Youtube has a thumbs up for "like" and a thumbs down for "dislike."

But right next to those, they should have a heart for "Love."

    Martin gave a beautiful speech.

"The arch of the moral universe is long but it bends toward justice..." God bless his family and his people. I thank God for him.

  • some of this is the last line in Rage Against The Machine`s song wake up.

  • If you really want to praise this man, use your intellects. The comments that have grammatical errors that should have been corrected during elementary school is no way to honor a King. This man desired equality and peace, but I don't think he wanted to stop there. Dr. King preached a better type of human being. The only war that needs to be fought is the war on ignorance.

  • AWESOME!!!

  • There is hope for humanity, as long as God sits on the throne of the universe because that same God will always send so one to redeem men and women from the destructive warlike and vanitty drive wasys,King Jr.. was one such man, and so was Jesus and Lincol and others the test will always be one on love and peace.love and hope love and sharing peace will get beget peace and hatred and evil will spoun its own ugly babies whos hope is to destroy.word up!

  • I love to here that.. Great Soul..

  • A great speach from a great man.

  • his truth is marching on glory hallelujah glory hallelujah his truth is marching on.

  • We needed to that then and we need to understand it now

  • oh sorry was side tracked by trusoule's misgiuded history lesson . wanted to say I love Martin because he spoke to all men and not just black or white.A true leader of men

  • When we were in our own lands we sinned against YAHWEH and as punishment for our sins we were given to an eneny that brought us into a land of slavery,a land of bondage,a land of which we were brought to by ships. And in this land we have remained, for almost 400 years we have been in the land of our captivity. The day is growing close when we will no longer be called Nigger but we will be called by our true name,Yisrael. Our history, present,&future was witten in the Bible.Take your history back.

  • @trusoule man you mixed all kinds of shit up but whatever works for you..

  • @George6360 check the history books George then compair history to the bible. Everything that happened to the people of the Bible only happened to the decendants of the African slavery. Do the research before passing blind judgements on me.

  • @trusoule you are wrong, Africans were part of races living in that part of the word , Egypt being an African nation to start with but not the only race.

  • @trusoule exactly the day grows near where there world will end and our will begin

  • 20th century has seen the two greatest masters of rhetoric of all time. The second greatest was Winston Churchill.

  • He hasn't died , a promise to a Christian is eternal life in heaven.God keeps his promises, that is the promised land.
