caribe are not the biggest but they are the most aggressive pygocentrus (pack hunting) piranha. in the wild they are known to circle bird nests and wait for chicks to fall. i used to own some of these, they are really exciting. a little spendy though, if you're on a budget red belly's are just as exciting...a little less aggressive.

if you want some google shark aquarium, george fear owns the company and ships piranha's nation wide via airport to airport and fedex overnight.

i noticed u also have another video of caribas (these are a bit larger) are they also yours? i also noticed that in both vids the caribas seem to chase after the mouse more quickly compared to the common reds i have seen in some other vids!!

this is a video of them a couple days after i had them. the other video is of them probably a year later. they are more aggresive i have had reds, cariba, piraya, elong, terns, rhoms. a lot of different types and these were the most aggresive of them all.

so when u ordered them online did they always arrive in good condition? also if the black spot behind the gills is hard to notice or if i have to guess weather on not there is a black spot then chances are its not a cariba right??

they will always have a black spot that you can see. they were a little fin niped but they were all alive. they usualy offer replacment if they arive dead.

no they are still jittery sometimes but i had mine so they would come at me through the glass. i ordered my piranhas online and they shipped them to me. good way to get different piranhas.

yes because they are all wild, you can't breed them so they are much more aggresive then reds because 90% of common reds are not wild.
