thank you for the tips. i'm going to try your team work strategy the next time i get on. i'm kinda new, but i'd like to share my favorite strategy for bosses.

full attack combo (i use dual swords) -> counter -> block-> attack, repeat. note, i'm melee range, so if your underleveled for the area, i would change the block to counters.

Up to you in my opinion they are all good. Check out my Videos of being a Mage and my friends are all archers and warriors... Warriors are able to kill this by doing a lot of damage mages must have a lot of skill to make combos and archers must be able to quickly use range but all have there strenghts and weaknesses.,..

no there is no real guide and there is no job you can do... personally i decided be a human and use range, melee, and magic lol but idk if that a wise idea or not (i did that because idk which i really like most or which im good at... that and i like to use magic with heavy armor and a ton of hp)

Lightning bolt is aoe though and if done when others are casting lightning its damage increases so I figure a party of lightning casters could slaughter bunch of lower lvl mobs for loot.

5 charge, firebolt wins

in general usage, like situational, ice bolt is ur best friend, it also has the most stable damage (no 5 then the next hit does a 200.)

IMO ice is the best, but most ppl would disagree...

i aggree, it also uses less mp then the other skills, but note that when your skills start to get higher, so will the mp usage. my ice is r3, and every time i charge it uses about 4 mp, still not alot compared to lightning, rF=3mp :P

icebolt is the best if you dont have any of the others in my opinion go ice, then fire, then lightening if your planning to be a mage, which im not I got r7 ice I want to rerank it for more yummy ap 8D

Some constructive criticism: A pretty decent breifing on combat for beginners, but you incorectly described lightning and thunder, and the descriptions of fire, ice, litning, counter, and wm were lacking . also, the ice spear description could have been worded better.

1.Get a bow and some arrows from any weapon NPC

2.Shoot some foxes several times

3.Once you get ranged Rank F make a campfire

4.Use ranged attack , your arrow will be covered in fire

5.Shoot something , you will get the title

6.Go to dunb, Go to the training grounds

7.Talk to the NPC inside the training grounds (the TG can be found near dunbarton school.

8.Use the key word "fire arrow"

Fergus's repair rate is fake. Nicca is worst blacksmith/weapon shop person in game... Broke both my modified broads, and by broke I mean 2 or 3 durability left broke, from 10 or 12. I mean, durability loss is a part of the game. Stop crying over spilt milk. Jeez. Besides, just run Ciar Intermediate and you should have about enough for that new Claymore or Two Handed. no nicca is second best repair man ferghus repair rate is not glitched and i never blessed my things when i was over lvl 30 and i repaired at ferghus when i didnt feel like warping to qilla or going to bangor to reapir at edern edern has only made 1 mistake on my weapon nicca hasnt made 1 since i repaired my gladius and claymore not blessed so if u lose durability it's the success rate of the weapon so nothing is fake on mabi

Ferghus is the worst repairman ever. If you ever check the repair rates on Mabinogiworld Wiki you'll know what I mean. (Obviously, you don't.)

He knocked 3 dura off my Eiry on my Elf character, and now the max dura on Eiry is only 3. Can't even run Longa without Eiry going down to 0 dura before the boss. I had to get money for another bow by doing a whole bunch of part-time jobs. Not pleasant. And since Eiry is a spirit weapon, you can't modify it for more max dura.

Can someone PLEASE explain to me a good way to repair weapons? I quit this game solely for the weapon durability/repair functions. It's expensive enough to repair the weapons, but when your durability goes down on a large scale per repair, it's really upsetting for how often it happens - even with holy water, which should do more than it does.

repair it at good blacksmith. You go to Ferghus KILL ur dura. I recommend repair ur "ok" weapons at 95% with blessing, I've never lost any dur before. For ur special weapon, save up your muney and repair at Edern with blessing, the best repair you can get.

It's really difficult to find a good blacksmith that's close to where you are, and have good prices. I don't wanna travel for an hour just to get my weapon repaired, and go back to where I was before to train. :(

Uhh, I already said; I quit a long time ago because of the repairing system. My claymore that i bought with around 20k gold (or whatever it's called, I forget) lost around 3 durability in about 7 or so repairs. That was because it was Fergus, though, which I hate. He's the least expensive, though, which is fine.
