How much fuel did you burn? How did your boat handle in the rough water u described in the video. Just curious because I just picked up a 12' boat with a 10hp. Also what was the horse power on yours thanks.

@kynnersley123 I don't know the exact amount for the whole trip, but I do remember that I refilled my 25L tank in Cobourg and got all the way to downtown Toronto (in following 4 to 5' swells as far as Newcastle, where I waited for it to calm down) on it... (continued)
...The boat doesn't handle well going into waves though, which why I stopped at the spit. On the way back, I noticed that a small leak it had had gotten worse, though that might have been caused by the fact that I had my heavy equipment box sitting between the seats and/or by dragging it along rocky beaches when I camped.
When I got home, I found the leak...a 4-inch crack under the seats where I could'nt see it during the trip. The boat (a Princecraft) is only 5 years old.

The motor is a 2000 9.8 Nissan. I've taken a lot of long trips with it. Went to NYC with it (seriously!) in 2002 from Georgian Bay. VERY dependable.
