more like an existential abyss. it was like a major f-u 2 every1 at the fact the show was cancelled, the viewers alike. or mayb Joss cldnt bear 2 let it go so just left it in a state of suspended animation. Either way, it was jarring.

@toniiah I always got that feeling too. I must admit that towards the end of the Buffy/Angel-verse era, I was a bigger fan of ATS than BTVS. I LOVED the Angel series finale, but I hated that it ended on a cliffhanger. I really wanted to see Angel, Gunn, Illyria and Spike's battle with the Senior Partners' Army.
