My only worry is that the position of the rod holders with or without a fishing rod would interfere with rowing. I would have positioned it a bit forward near the foot wells. Just my two cents.
Hey great vid! I've been looking at picking one up but was deciding beween just the 2XL and the 2XL Angler version. But since you did this in a pretty quick fashion I think I may go the 2XL.
Was it cheaper to go this route by buying the hatches than buying the angler version?
@sh1bby69 hell of alot cheaper.. don't get the gaspi hatches for the small holes, they run 50+ bucks for one. Get the west marine hatches for 8 bucks for one. LOL
before u cut the center hatch ( 2:20 ), there was a weird plastic something glued to it. i also have it in my malibu 2 xl, and i don't really know what is supposed to be, and why is it there....

@Posty2196 I just put it in the hatch, but I do have on one of the plastic clips on one of my hatch bolts inside, if I wanted to clip things to it.
