Ah... complete oversight in posting this at this time. Was posting it in the order of how it was edited (and currently being re-edited) in the AN Video version. Russia's reference has nothingto do with Vancouver. It's about the rich rivalry between their national teams across the years. The ankle slashing is a reference to an incident in game 6 of the 1972 summit series where a Canadian player slashed a Russian player's ankle and fractured it.

Uh, I kinda just want to add that that even though we did have a riot a whole bunch of volunteers went down to the the damaged neighborhoods the next day and helped the City clean up for free. Sooo yeah...I'm kind of ashamed that my fellow Canuck fans rioted but I'm also proud that average people decided to help out the business owners by lending a hand. Kind of the typical Canadian apology of sorts.

It makes me sad that this came out right after the Vancouver 2011 riot....I know that it wasn't intended to be that way, but we as Canucks fans are taking a really big hit from the rest of the world right now.....P-PLEASE DON'T HATE US LIKE EVERYONE ELSE, I SWEAR THAT IT WASN'T THE FANS WHO STARTED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just look at us Americans, we have riots like this all the time and it usually blows over. At least your police didn't almost use lethal force, ours did when the Lakers won and rioted in the streets.

@JadedPhantom Well, they had their guns ready...I don't know, everyone is getting mad at us...It really wasn't the fans though, we were okay with the loss and we were just happy that we had made it so far...It was criminals and thieves that came disguised as fans who started it. They were people using a sporting and family event to start a riot. The only time the the fans got involved was either when they were trying to stop it or when they were taking photo evidence for the police...

@JadedPhantom Oh, they did. Trust me. Websites automatically shot up for people to post photos and videos that would later be sent to the police. It was also really nice to see the REAL fans cleaning up the city the next day. THAT'S Canuck/Vancouver pride.
