The problems facing Iraq today are primarily political ones - when you award a particular relgious sect political control then obviously a deadly mix takes place.

At the end of the day this is a political crisis fueled by religious fervour highlighted by ineffective and unjust governments.

I do agree that the US will never succeed in the US but disagree that the Arab regimes of the region are getting stupider and stupider.

When you have the people of Palestine living under such heinous conditions and the Arab League has no effective recourse to relieve their suffering you have a completely defunct leadership.
