Politicians are trying to subdue ppl by trying to repay for all the pain & torment our country has fostered in the past but these things arent something you can undo & we should only work to improve & move on- though as a white female who hasn't experienced racism or had to consider my family being enslaved this is only 1 perspective

Nebraska has gotten rid of AA by ballot vote. However, the wording of the ballot was deceiving and many people became confused. I know several people who believe in AA that mistakenly voted against it because of the ambiguous wording. The wording on the ballot did not use the phrase "Affirmative Action." Not using AA in a vote against AA is deception. But there were several other phrases on the ballot that were deceiving as well.

There is a difference between EQUAL and FAIR.
Example: There are 2 people - Bill Gates and an Army Sergent. You have $200 to give away. EQUAL is giving Bill Gates $100 and the Army Sergent $100. But Bill Gates is rich and $100 doesn't mean as much to him as it would to the poorer Army Sergent. FAIR is giving all $200 to the Army Sergent.
There is a difference between EQUAL and FAIR. Affirm Action may not be EQUAL, but it is FAIR.
