its quite disappointing. Brian eno has shadowed coldplay with a haze of weird superfluous synthesizers. Seriously, the playback factor for this album is quite low. They need to stop making concept albums because its not in their element. No organic feel in this album. Hurts like heaven is the best track, but id say moving to mars beat anything on the album
i love when Coldpaly comes up with a new album because you know its never gonna be the same. this album is really good. in my opinion i think Hurts Like Heaven is my favorite song on MX. I agree with you on a lot of the things you said (especially that this album will go down in history!) :D
@abu3333 rihanna sounds quite good on the album. The problem lies in the song. Apart from up in flames, id say its the worst track iv heard from coldplay. In an interview, chris admitted that he had that song in line for 3 years. Coldplay are really expressing a side of themselves not many people fell in love with them for. But i still rather listen to them than any other band
