Charles Carlisle says that he is the first professional singer that he has ever known. He know him personally and have always loved and admired him. That is why he chose singing as a profession. Wish that one day he would come to his studio or he will bring the studio to him so he could background with him.
I love this type of singing, but we have to understand that as time evolves, so will types of singing, and gospel isn't exempt. Both the traditional and contemporary should be in place, and one shouldn't compromise the other. I can't stand it when ppl completely lean towards one side and disregards the other.
