  • for the shoes, try SI-18 International, though i dont know if they do them in belgium...have you tried ordering over the internet

  • Okay I don't want to sound like a crazy fan, but Dan Edwardes is inspiring!! I found a book he wrote called 'The Parkour/Freerunning Handbook' in a library, changed my life completely! I love parkour, it's a beautiful and healthy discipline! Thank-you Dan!! :)

  • Man these spots are so sweet! I'm having to set up stuff with my fence, a few bricks and my trampoline to train.

  • @ fatal, I do the same thing, I don't see a reason to do flips. I love just running on walls or climbing a really high fence.

  • Great thx !

  • awesome, parkour rocks :D

  • I love these guy's style. Very smooth and controlled.

  • I cant do the roll. i find it hard to do it on a soft surface because it hirts my shoulder and stuff. and tips so i can learn the roll propaly?

  • How is it hard to do on a soft surface? it only hurts on concrete, for me anyway, and I'm working on that.

My best advice for you right now would just be to get a stronger upper body and whatnot, you have stronger, larger muscles it hurts less.

  • oops soz man i ment hard surface.. :S

  • This is so awesome!

  • good on u man. finally someone sees that point. Its like when ppl fight over which martial art is the best. they're all martial arts and the only thing that matters is the practitioner.

  • No they are diffren't....free running is the more show off way with flips and stuff, parkour is the original shit that is more of an art then free running its not about mastering your movements its about getting from point a to point b

  • Seriously, its not that big a deal. If you want to be extremely anal over what is and what isnt parkour then go for it. But your not going to change someone elses parkour style and path.

  • its opposite ;)

  • What a clown, can't u comprehend what has just been made clear, it isn't about what isn't, it is about what is. The arguement is insignificant. No need to bicker over the name, its just a label. Movement is the bottom line, how you choose to express youself and master your movements is up to you.

  • tre tre but i would sazy the esies way to explain it is parkour is trying to get from poin a to point b as fast as possible using the aplications of the human body while free running is gymnastcs on the street basicley less about speed more about looking good :)

  • I think the existance of conditioning in a persons training is more important and makes it more just for that person to call themselves a traceur, rather than the non existance of flips, surely. Its just a pointless arguement don't you think.

  • Yer it dosent really matter its just what how you prefer. i rather parkour (like no flips and stuff) but thats just my opinion it theres no point in it getting in the way of things and arguing over it. i train with free runners and it dosent matter. (the only problem is somethimes they stand on the pier dooing flips onto the sand whils i sitaround at the top practicing vaults at the top on my own it can get abit boaring :D )

  • Yeh that doesn't sound too much fun! You need to find some guys who want to train in the same way as you! conditioning and repetition! I hardly ever do flips either, i think that wen moving, i hav to force flips to fit into my route or my combination, i enjoy moving better without them, ther is nothing worse thn seeing a nice smooth set of movements, and then a scruffy backflip in the middle of it all!! straight up efficiency is the way forward as it were!!

  • I agree, I've seen some quite efficient smooth looking front flips used in a vault situation before though.

  • im the same way..no flips, no showy stuff. flow, precision, repetition and progression for me.

  • agreed =)

  • This difference between the two has only been established amongst internet users watching videos, free running was first used as just another name for parkour, for the purpose of film n documentaries. basically to market it more effectively. It is only more recently it has been decided that they are different, due to David Belle loosely mentioning something about flips not bein parkour, and everyone jumped on the band wagon, and this huge debate ensued!

  • true dat im a show off so free running is more my thing :P

  • Yes. Really they are just names. My friends and I have a club at my school, we call it the parkour club, but if we also call it the free running club because it's easier to pronounce for our classmates.

But there is no difference to us, we practice the art of movement and the fluidity of traveling from point a to point b in the quickest manner possible.

  • Awesome stuff: more!

  • nice .

  • sina kyll seda ei teinud nice ikka :D

  • Can't wait for the next one. And the next one!

  • they a have nice flow

  • I was aat a park practicing and Mesed up my hip and right arm after fallinig face first cuz i messd up a vault :(

  • Weren't you able to roll? (Just a question)

  • Parkour isn't supposed to be impressive..

    Peace man!

  • True to that man, someone who understands finally!

  • How should it be impressive? Parkour wasn't made for looking impressive. It was for Getting from point A to point B, and always training yourself, so to be prepared to help others, let along yourself.

  • shut up...

  • @eeto91 i think parkour can be very impressive. take a large standing cat leap for example...

  • @eeto91 What is it for than?When r u l8 for work u free runn?? :P

  • I mean THOSE might take me awhile... I accidently said thise.......oops

  • I need to really practice. I went to a park so I could stay in touch with the stuff I already know, but then I decided to do some other things like flips. Thise might take me awhile...

  • flips are not parkour, they are pointless too. Dont learn them unless you wana sell out (:

  • sell out or brke your neck

  • flips are free running not parkour, free running is just parkour with flair

  • flips are not parkour but they are cool nonetheless

  • Nice

  • you guys are fuckin ballin

  • i've tried parkour and now im in a hospital with the crippled

  • thats prolly because you were acting dumbfuck retarded

  • @ClickOnMyChannelPlz

Omg, so you're only the hospital because of Parkour? Blame yourself. Parkour is about learning to be carefull, and you were not.

  • Rolls aren't hard; when you take Taekwondo, they teach you rolling break falls, which are pretty much rolls. It's awesome.

  • that doesn't mean a traceur doesn't practice rolls constantly and improve. traceurs have to do them without hesitation and is of second nature to them. and btw there are a lot of points to take note when you roll lol I dont know but it takes a lot of practice

  • im working on my rolls great vid tho

  • nice

    begging song

  • scroo u asshole

  • pleas reply what shoes do they ware i hope someone nows or can say me verry good parkour shoes without saying ariake beceause i freakin dont find a shop in belgium who sells them so yes if you know a spot you can answer to

  • Ariakes are terrible shoes for parkour. Any basic running shoe will do you.. ;)

  • Thanks so much. You saved me $100. xD

  • thanks verry much but what are the best beceause i have some now but they hurt with jumps?

  • If your jumps are hurting it's probably your technique, make sure you land on your toes, work up from small jumps to big jumps when you feel your leg muscles are ready and make sure to bend your legs (when bending your legs only go down about halfway).

If the problem really is your shoes which I doubt then make sure they are the right size. Any shoes should work well, the lighter the better :p

  • i can do all that and thats the thing when i land no my toes beceause my toes are puched forward my big toe hurts like hell

  • hey ehm thanks verry much again but could you tell me an adress or something by email so not everyone would irritate you but so i can join you if later on i have more questions like is their parkour generantion lessons in belgium???

  • @ParkourGenerations i agree i have the ariakes and i wish i didnt waste the money =P

  • @ParkourGenerations No there not, they have been special designed for parkour, 95% of professional tracuers use them in the united states.

  • @spartan7777777 i recommend Nubalance

  • @spartan7777777 deacthlon parkour vision or nike dart 9 :)

  • this is fuckin good

  • these people have a way of making you think...wow yer, thats how it should be done

  • om not that bad at parkour but one thing i suck as at is the landing on a rail :/

  • parkour loverz...

    This is the best:

    watch?v=Q0XvxBM7hJI

  • Shut up your films suck sucker

  • check out cr13w i got kicked out im john

  • AWESOME video. what song is used at the beginning?

  • wow thatd come in handy when the cops are chasin you

  • so why have the cops been chasing you

  • It's kinda dangerous jumping over a hand rail with both legs and feet facing forward.

It's more safe to do it side way so that you uh don't smash your face in.

  • la caña

  • Amazing

hope i can be like that!!

  • parkour is cool!

  • Okay I like parkour but it's obvious the name should be ninjaing.

  • cool!

  • spettacolare!

very good sport, it should be a good training for legs and for all the body

  • wat kinda shoes are good to wear when doing this?

  • Basketball, Running, maybe Skateboarding maybe

    i wear Adidas MAX (Running/Basketball)

  • Basketball and skateboarding shoes= heavy, bulky and crappy for parkour

  • lol try n tell me that b4 i climbed a 3 storey building :\

  • cross trainers

  • Parkour is an amazing lifestyle, good video

  • better than awesome!

  • A great example and show of control. It is good to see videos that are blown up by the media. It is so true that most practice happens on small levels until it has been perfected.

    Great flick.

  • I can jump but I don't know about those friggin' rolls.

  • yeah, it hurts my back to do rolls on hard ground cos my back is really really bony( as in my spine sticks out lol)

  • sry dude but a row ya not suppose to touch your spine on the floor except for your shoulder and somewhere near your hip

  • You are supposed to smoothly transition from your right or left shoulder to the opposite hip in a parkour roll.

  • Going between the right shoulder and the left hip kind of has to cross the spine somewhere, don't you think?

  • Take it easy, but with practice you will find a movement with a minimum of pain, if you know the proper form in general. Your body will take care of specifics, and you just need to concentrate on a few general ideas or sensations to urge it along. My roll has two mental stages; sliding along the outside of my arm/ sliding it under me until the back of my shoulder is on the ground, and then rolling back up. Give a fast sideways spine to minimize the time between stages and the time on the spine.

  • I love ParkourGenerations so fucking much!
