@triciag10 Maybe you should sit them down and get them to watch the first episode of your favourite anime. It's what I did, and I have brilliant friends who all like it now that I introduced them to it. They may have already seen some anime without realising, eg pokemon, sailor moon or cardcaptor sakura

@triciag10 Cosplay is great to do with your friends, but if they're not comfortable with it, you can still do it. If you're worried that your friends won't accept you because you cosplay, then they aren't your real friends. Besides, there are loads of cosplay communities online and you can go on them and make loads of friends who are interested in cosplay
