wow.... really people? You get more radiation from the sun doing that then cell phones lol There are many amateur radio operators that have done fine with all of there equipment that are very similar to cell based ant and amateur radio uses way more power. Its nothing new or all mighty.
ROFL this is entertaining, reminds me of the time when an old lady outside the iPhone store was talking shizz about the government using them to brainwash us. xD
Wow. This is about as ignorant as the people protesting radio stations when those first went up. These people need to study basic physics and the electromagnetic spectrum. I suggest they learn about inverse square law. I suggest they understand what "radiation" really is. And the difference between ionizing and non-ionizing radiation.
75 Microwatts OMG! I wonder how much electromagnetic radiation a 100 watt electric light bulb gives off?
Hell, why they are at it, I suggest they ban neutrinos
I know how this story will end. Once enough money has been made, the telecommunications industry will bow to public and scientific opinion based on an unprecedented increase in cancers. In time the transmitters we see today will be dismantled and taken away, thus making it impossible for anyone to sue for damages as the evidence will have gone! Please keep commenting on this matter openly because the authorities do watch YouTube to glean peoples' awareness.
boo fucking who... by the time this really becomes any kind of REAL issue we'll all be dead... same with global warming... just fucking live the life you have before it gets by you...
Does RJ Reynolds ring a bell Mr, starthmeyer? Are you so naive to think the telecomm industry gives a hoot about your health over their profit anymore than the tobacco industry? And you don't remember the manipulation and suppression of the science by the tobacco industry? You might want to do some research and find out what other countries are doing - like Germany. This IS a public health issue and it's serious.
Do you actually have any scientific *PROOF* that a specific wavelength of EM radiation has adverse health effects? Did you know that this frequency is near that of HAM radio which has been around for years? Did you know that it is many an order of magnitude below the Terahertz band of EM radiation that you get dosed with every day? Did you know it is a similar band to UHF TV stations? Did you know it is BELOW the water absorption spectrum?
You have not the first idea of the basic concepts of radiation, electromagnetics, the inverse square law, the health effects of rf fields on humans.
This is just ridiculous. The antennas not only provide income for the community through leasing, they also provide better service. Yes, this makes a profit for the cell companies. It also benefits the customer. More antennas also benefit public safety with a more robust network in an emergency
Actually, DrBuzz0, we do have some knowledge of the issues you mention, apparently considerably more than you do, which is why we organized this demonstration and others like it.
strathmeyer: What do you think the purpose of this clip, the demonstration it documents, and the complete documentary film from which it was drawn is? To keep this knowledge under wraps? Have you visited the website listed along with this clip in the section 'About This Video'? There's plenty of information collected there if you would take the time to look.
I think the purpose of the clip is to draw attention to yourself. I know what a real public health scare looks like. I think it's funny that you think that I'm not looking for information simply because I don't believe everything you say.
So what about the purpose. Do you read physics, I do. I know what's going on. Why don't you read about microwaves and the affect they have on the components of the atmosphere, most notably oxygen, then while your at it, let me know if you've figured out what "absorption" means. Then you and I can talk, because otherwise your just looking at the behavior of people and not science, that doesn't prove anything about the issue at hand.
I seriously doubt you do actually. You cite only partial facts about the electromagnetic spectrum. You obviously have no problem with the high amount of EM radiation given off by the SUN as shown in these videos - which far outstrips those antennas. 75 Microwatts of non-ionizing radiation? This is the same protest that was against Radio when it first came out. It is absurd.

Protest by NOT buying the damn phones/radio transmitters. They won't build them if you don't buy the phones.

View my site to watch a video from a scientist that has proved that cell phones can cause brain cancer.

I support your views about the dangers of microwaves. Thank you for your efforts to stop this madness!

Then why don't you pass that knowledge on to other people? Either you're evil for keeping it to yourself, or don't have it.
