  • Full Marks for the Chieftains and for screamingsquash for posting this viddy.

I must admit, though, that I've heard better quality sound than this one. Don't mean to rain on your parade...

  • I'd like to apologize for the negative comments that were posted on here. It kind of ruined the triumphant nature of the video. I've erased them, as is my right. Thanks to all who stood up for the fact that I was joking. Sometimes the reader will misinterpret what is written. As an author and poet I know this well. Keep up the good work St. Andrews, and all other pipe bands!

  • I am quite sure that the Chieftains would *not* chance ruining their performance by letting a "grade 3" band perform live onstage with them... They probably ARE better than your band. The Chieftains played for world leaders for christ's sake. I'm sure they are a better judge at a band's abilities than you.

  • @chrometanned

well im going to play with them neext mth with my band and we are a grade 4 they are not music al snobs music is all about sharing

  • @irishpiper54 I know they are not snobs. They played here with some of our local musicians during their Down The Old Plank Road touring. I posted that a year ago, I can't even remember what my original point was.

  • What's your problem that you have to come on to the internet and bash somebody, because they made a joke, with things you would not say to a person in real life (because online arguments are not real life and YOU need to get out) and if you do say things like that to people in real life, most people probably do not like you and you need to get over yourself.

  • First of all, keeping a grade 3 together and going well at a college deserves a lot more respect than you seem to give it. Second of all, the person that wrote "probably better than you band" was obviously joking. I usually never get into arguments online because I feel that they are ridiculous and everybody looks bad in them, but every once in a while I have to just because they are so ridiculous.

  • Well done St Andrews!

  • are they playing the crested hen?

  • We are playing Andro (sp). There are several tunes with that name.

  • My bust. St. Andrews recently kicked butt at Stone Mountain and the Charleston Highland Games. Recognize, SON!

  • once upon a time???? they're still kicking butt in gr 3. just won stone mtn..
