if anyone is wondering how you delete these boxes, if you're using a pc, open the console (~), click on the box (you have to drop it first), type in "markfordelete" (without the quotes), and voilaa...yeah, i know, i spelled that wrong

I once glitched myself under the marked area in Whiterun. I don't know how, not ever till this day, cause I've tried it again numerous times but to no avail. There were boxes like this under every merchant, so I'm guessing it's the inventory like s52608 says, but I couldn't interact with them in any way...

You can get the one in Solitude...If you know where blacksmith is well on the oposite side of the terrace is the guy who sells arrows and when you come into his shop use ''tcl'' just fly into the floor and you will see two boxes one has alot of bows and arrows inside it and the other one is''Do not Delete''

The do not delete box has nothing to do with the merchants (as far as I know) and was used as a Easter egg of some kind. There is a chest that works for merchants, but its a normal one. Do not delete has the ability to float. ;D

lol ik what that is! its the box that merchants items go in they put it underneath the store so players cant mess with it. i found that out from oblivion i used the consol command "tcl" and went through the floor and saw the box so i went on a spree of selling to the store and taking it back out of the chest XD
