Thanks Maureen - Just remember this show (shown on TV on the weekends in the 60's in Aus) from when i was a very little boy. Then I wished I was Gardner McKay and sailing the Pacific. He was very handsome.

Beautiful video, and I always loved the theme song! If anyone owns (or can borrow) the album "Hawaii" by Santo and Johnny please post at least a couple of songs from it. The entire album is great, but I love "Adventures In Paradise" and "Isle Of Dreams"by them...you will momentarily forget your cares and be mentally and emotionally translated to 'a good place'. If you enjoy a beverage "slightly stronger than a sarsaparilla" while listening...your eyes might even 'tear up' a little... Tunesmith

I, too, loved this show and its star, Gardner McKay. I bought the dvd's of the series but the quality runs from mediocre to dreadful. I'm waiting for a better quality release, if one ever comes.
