Byakuya would certainly rape Gin. Byakuya is a very skilled captain. Level 81 Kido spell...exact same one used by Aizen.

Bankai release is not indicative who is stronger. Who has Gin fought seriously? No one.

Gin did grab Kenpachi and run away when he thought there would be a confrontation with Buykaya.

I have no doubt whatsoever that Byukya would defeat Gin.

Those data books are valid, although they do leave out some other characteristics, such as raw spiritual power which comes into play.

Otherwise somebody like Ichigo or Kenpachi would never win a fight against another captain.

Ichigo spiritual pressure seemed to have peaked, twice that of a captain. Yamamoto, Aizen, Kenpachi level.

Yes Gin is stronger than byakuya that stat thing is out of date now that gin merged with the hollows his stats could be over 600+ becuase he broke the barrier that allows him to only master kidou shunpo and other stuff such as retsui to only 100 now its possible for azien gin tousen to probally have kidou at like 120 if you know what i mean. but so far only the weak charcters have show bankia ..

But that stat thing only shows stats doesnt show fighting skill so gin is probally stronger.

He didnt merge with a hollow ... he merged with the hollows so he is a vizard now - im not 100% that azien tousen and gin are vizards but they probally are which means they got hollow powers and increase strength/spirit energy

yes byakuya has a few higher stats than gin but in a full out fight doesnt mean he will win lol. they havnt factored in bankia and shikia and stuff like that. and gin hasnt gone all out and so far only the weak charcters have shown there bankia... im just saying you cant really go by the stats is what im saying. ukitake is sick so his strength is low.. but he is suppose to be as strong as shunsui. mayuri has low stats but if he studys you he wil own you.
