Sounds great. I have an 2006 SR5 V-8 4runner. Don't baby it. I drive mine all year round. It's designed for bad weather and off road. Use it for what it was designed for and enjoy it. It's not a sport car. It's a truck.
@ganee6a Its decent in the LC, moves it along better then the old 4.5 i-6. lol. But I kinda get your swing, its not the fastest in my moms Sequoia. But the Sequoia would beat my old 88 v6 4runner anyday. lol
@ROYCEG69 Ok good enough. mine gets here on thursday cant wait to hear it in person videos don't do its justice. BTW this system will replace my Magnaflow 15781 kit.
@Alex050796 hey hey ;) juste need a K&N 63 series cold air intake and a borla dual cat-back exhaust....that will run your wallet for about 1400$-1500$ lol but it's well worth it
When you get a chance, can you post a video of you actually driving the 4runner? All I've seen on your page are videos of you just reving the engine...
The intake was about 300$...it was very easy to install cause K&N give you step by step instructions with pictures...they say it takes about 1h but it took me 30min
right now I cant do a inside video cause the 4runner is put away during winter time...but from experience I can tell you that there is certainly a difference but it is not much...it also depends on how fast your engine is turning on highway speed (RPM)...what kind of vehicle your looking forward to put an exhaust on? Just ask anything else and I'll answer
Maybe eventually but you got to get and exhaust so there's as much air coming out as in...and a great sound...putting cold air intake and an exhaust gave us more low end torque and better acceleration...we've got around 300hp right now...i'm putting some BOSS 313 chrome 20" rims with yokohama tires next year and probably a UNICHIP in it too :P this toys is put away during winter so its well taken care of
THX...eum about 2-5mpg with the exhaust but the performance is there...maybe you dont gain as much MPG but you gain more performance and you feel too :P

is that 2uz-fe engine 4.7L ? my dad has a land cruiser and its DAMN SLOW
ganee6a 1 year ago
@ganee6a yes it is the 2uz-fe 4.7L...don't know but the 4runner isn't that slow at 180km/h still wants to go more and has plenty of power
Dikon0901 1 year ago
@Dikon0901 After 2005 the 2uz-fe 4.7 got intake VVT-i, makes it have about 275 hp over 245 and 320 ft lbs over 315!
Motorfordtoyota 10 months ago
@Dikon0901 a lot of the japanese cars are electronically limited in theyre top speed, thats why you fell your 4R can go faster
omar53333 8 months ago
@ganee6a your dads land cruiser is also 1000lbs heavier; it's called power to weight ratio.
