i I wonder what happened to the king [omukama ] of toro.if my memory is correct princess bagaya and prince patrick went to buhinga primary school[formerally asian public school]which i also attended in mid 1960's .those were the good old days.any info is most welcome.

Omukama and thats what we would call him back home.Kasese not very far from Fort Portal where i was born and i remember a palace that belonged to Omukama of Toro.I have visited the out skirts of the palace but never got a chance to see inside .this was way back in late 1960`s.

Ap get your stories straight. Kingdoms were reinstated in uganda decades ago. The only reason this guy is out of hiding is because Museveni wants to exploit the rift between his kingdom and the Buganda kingdom. i think you have been watching the movie "Coming to America" way too much. the only nation in Africa with an actually king is Lesotho, but there are thousands of chiefs who rule villages and towns whom are sometimes called kings.

Court of Arms - this belongs to another Royal House of Uganda for many many years, It is a symbol of a Drum supported by two Lions. I see here the same emblem reproduced but this time one lion and one monkey. Is this a breach of protocol? If anyone knows kindly clarify. All the best to the new ruling family.
