It is rare that there are two musicians who collaborate and make a genius song like this. Most times it is anti-climactic, but this is... wow. When I first searched for Raul Midon & Mraz this is exactly what I thought it would sound like. Amazing harmonies, vocals and guitar playing. Perfect song.

While yes, knowing how to play guitar and learning it while having sight does make it easy to play fine in the dark or eyes closed or whatever, it's a MUCH different story never having looked at a guitar to even get a general idea of where the frets are. Raul kicks butt. So stop about talking about how easy it is to play without looking.

@Matthewgoss81 learn the same way without sight as you do with sight. when you have bad vision and learn without glasses you can learn the same way as someone who is blind. you learn by the feel of the guitar not by the look of the frets and strings.

i think its awsome that he can play being blind. i play and i know by experence that it is easy to play blindfolded or even in total darkness. i do it all the time. this is one beautiful song.

OK ManUscripted87, I guess I should've said "In my opinion" this isn't the "best song ever". I've heard that descriptive phrase many, many times from my younger daughter, who'se your age, and learned to accept that your generation uses that term ALL THE TIME. (BTW, she agrees with me that "Sunshine of Your Love" is closer to the 'best song ever'; although some could argue for Over the Rainbow, or Mozart's Sull'aria, or Anything by Sinatra, or Nessun Dorma by Pavarotti...

lol Yeah i know my generation does use that phrase a lot but again you can't argue such a topic as the "Best song ever" because it's based on individuals opinions and preferences. The songs you mentioned could very well be great songs, i can't argue that because i have never heard them. But it's not "closer" or further from the "best song ever" because it's based on a person's opinion. Can't we just enjoy this song and agree that it's still a pretty good one.
