Stratovarius have lost everything from its power. This is an absolutely different band than it used to be. It totally lacks energy and the singer sounds as if he was deaf...It's so unbearable that my ears want to cry....urrrggh
@kungfuexpert I don't think it's quite that bad, but I know what you mean in some ways. Instrumental parts are still strong. Kotipelto's voice has changed over the years (he turns 43 in March), and so the high notes are difficult. As of 2012, they downtune the songs by 1 semi-tone, which helps. When Kotipelto is relaxed and his voice isn't dry from touring several days in a row (like it was here), he still puts on a great performance. This song and B.D. are probably the best from this show.
Matias is brutally good. I don't think Tolkki could ever play the solos he has worte... Also, this is not the best example of neo stratovarius... Infernal Maze or Elysium are I think.
