The Italians have an order better legal system than America. They have a two thousand year old legal system with great recourse. Though I am angry she did not get the death penalty because of the laws there, they don't have it.

If you think she is guilty, please state why. Not just your opinion of why she is guilty but the facts and the evidence that absolutely prove she murdered Meredith Kercher. Why do you think the Kercher family stayed so silent, was not asked their opinion... just like everyone else, they have not done their research. They shouldn't have to, not them, the family. Knox is a liar! She told lies after lies and lied again. She is being officially sued by the Italian police for slander after claiming that she was verbally abused and hit during interogation (she was informed of this on the 21/01/2010) which is not true but a stupid and desperate attempt to free herself from the mess she is in. Her parents are being investigated as well for defamation. All the Knoxes are doing is hurting the case even more than it is and that's good since she is guilty as sin!

@jfbrodriguez Me too. She is guilty and only a delusional freak would suggest otherwise. She was convicted of murder, criminal slander, and is NOW being sued by the Italian police for slander: she accused them of hitting her, but couldn't pick out who actually hit her, even though she claims to have turned around and looked at them. The police are also considering suing her parents too, for spreading these lies.

Did you know he was in court numerous times since 2008? He was in teh same seat knox was and still is, in. Do you really think a prosecutor who has to go to court for tampering with evidence and untrustworthy practices should have been allowed to operate at the same time? I DONT THINK SO.

Next time, do research. The links you will find are from all over the world.

@Premium101 considering the information available there are serious and logical questions about the validity of the "evidence", which can easily be tainted if not properly handled. The defense was not allowed to use their or outside investigators to study the evidence nor was the crime scene even handled well. They know the killer is Guede for sure, but Knox and her BF have not been proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, nor has the prosecution shown they can be trusted.

The defence has come up with an excuse for every piece of evidence. BUT there is just such a heap of evidence and no shred of proof that they could have been innocent that it is impossible to say anything than guilty.

@Giselle1403 That is what the defense is supposed to do, just as the prosecution is making up circumstantial theories and excuses why she did do it. Perhaps you can explain to me why the knife doesnt even match the shape and size of the murder weapon? Or why the police officer that picked the knife randomly said it was "police intuition". The Brastrap had how many different peoples DNA on it? Take a guess. More than 10. Contaminated evidence? indeed. And there's more of that...

As far as I was aware there was NO contamination in this case - or in the lab in question for more than 7 years. So if you claim otherwise please provide references. My reference are court transcripts.

The defence MUST prove contamination - they tried but they failed.

There was NO other DNA of RS to have come in contact and contaminated the bra. The amount was significant and it was stated that for the amount present he would have had to come in contact with the bra

@Premium101 wrong, the concerns are in other nations including the UK as well. Even some italian law professors expressed dismay at how the case was handled. Furthermore the prosecutor was under investigation in another case before the Knox case even became an issue. Feel free to explain that if you will. Its just one more inconvenient fact you are either not told ore refuse to admit and therefore assume it the US's fault. The DNA was not conclusive and adding dna to objects isnt hard to do.

@Premium101 Circumstantial theory is still theory and that is what the prosecutor gave, not evidence. The prosecutor himself is under investigation for previously tampering with evidence and bad practices. Take that as you will. Scientific proof isnt proof unless it meets certain quantities and guild lines, both of which were not found to be satisfactory. They still havent found the murder weapon, the knife didnt even fit the wound or imprint, therefore its not the murder weapon.

My sympathies are with the family of Meredith Kercher. A very dignified family showing grace in the face of their tragic loss. May their healing begin with this just verdict.

All credit to the Italian Justice system which has been shown to be fair and thorough, an example to many other countries, including my own.
