  • I want one

  • garkeine Fische!?

  • Do you watch the video feed while operating or is this just recorded and watched later? How do you navigate underwater?

  • Great video - I can see the appeal of radio control submarines.

  • ''Diving officer - make your depth one-five-zero feet down bubble''

  • @shecanatakeitcaptain one, where could i find a small one for like $150- $200 and what kind of camera is that?

  • Brilliant, just brilliant. I smiled the whole way through this and gave you a standing ovation at the end. Bravo, bravo.

  • Ha Ha I love this video and I want a RC SUB :)

  • Great video. How do you manage to communicate with the sub underwater? Radio signals cant pass through water.

  • Wonderful! You clearly have too much fun!

  • Awesome!

  • Great work! I think it's possible realtime video via wifi. if you will use powerful wifi access points :)

  • You forgot the SEAVIEW.

  • Sweet video.....sweet was very entertaining!!...lol

  • EXCELLENT!

  • i feel like the only teenager who actually loves the Thunderbirds

  • @kyussfan6 Hey that's OK. It means you have good judgement, an eye for authentic model making and some imagination. Nothing to be worried about in that lot :-)

  • @shecanatakeitcaptain Ohh hell yeah! that lake looks really similar to one I fly Seaplanes at. You live near Phoenix AZ? And how much can a scale R/C sub set me back at?

  • @shecanatakeitcaptain Where can i get one this would be amazing for fishing seriously

  • @kyussfan6 your not alone

  • @kyussfan6 i love them (:

  • @kyussfan6 your not the only one...

  • There is nothing down there. Why did you film?

  • Quick Trivia: This submarine was actually manned by a former water-skiing squirrel.

  • NICE!!!!!!

  • sick

  • nicely done.

  • No animals?

  • Where's the fish???

  • how deep can these things go?

Lake Michigan by Portage point is really deep and its at least 10 ft deep in the first 15 ft from shore? would it handle pressures of like 120 ft or so?

  • i mean build me a sub or sell me a sub thank you

  • can you bid me a sub thats not to costly i want to spend about $200 it dosent have to be very big at long as it works like a sub im happy all ways wanted a rc sub for the pool or lakes or rivers.......asantiago@satx.rr.com 2103243817

  • awesome!!! Is that a homemade rc sub?

  • Well done. Was your video real-time or needed to be downloaded? And do you know if real-time is possible?

  • @AHGlasher Recorded to SD Card in Camera - edited afterwards. Real time requires aerial above the surface as video signals require high freqs and will not penetrate much water at all.

  • @AHGlasher

the closest thing to wireless real-time transmission would be to attach a video cable to a transmitter mounted on a buoy! most of these model RC subs don't usually operate at depths greater than the length of these video cables neways!

  • @AHGlasher I couldn't help but to answer this question. First of all if you didn't get an answer then I'll help answer it. Real time is possible and it is used very widley. Second there are RC airplanes with cameras on them and you can fly them and see what they are seeing in the air through a headset. They are about 3000 dollars.

  • @MrSoviet114 Never too late for answers and tks for your's. :c)

  • that was great :)

  • COOL!

  • nice.....

  • @shecantakeitcaptain I am doing a project in my school's films class and I was wondering if you would let me use parts of this video for it. I would really appreciate it thanks.

  • @anarchypolo9 have sent you a private message

  • i looove rc subs but i only got boats :[

  • I think I've just watched my next video cam obsession in action. Thanks, it looks like I'll be spending a lot of my time and money on this. ;-)

  • GREAT vid man! I wish I could find a ton more like this one. I'd love to build a sub with powerful lights and a good cam to go down into some lakes in my area.

  • A sub and a heli compeltly different things make a pretty good shot from up high or under water xD

  • There is absolutely no fish at all in that place, if that that thing went in my pond at my farm, that submarine wouldn't be able to even move through the water because of all the fish that is crowed in there, they would probably attack it.

  • that was an cool video

  • do you only use models of real ships or do you also use custom designs

  • @KnightRider378 Anything is possible. There are models of the Seaview from Voyage to the bottom of the sea,

Nautilus from 20,000 Leagues and even a model of the Starship Enterprise from Star Trek done as a sub. There are all on You Tube and are all fictional ships.

  • hola yo soy gmunozj, me gusto mucho el video sobretodo la camara submarina pero necesito saber donde compraste el submarino.

  • When the camera was on the helicopter it reminded me of a scene from U571....

  • THUNDERBIRDS ARE GO!!!

  • Love the last aerial shot!

  • The perfect choice of music. Good job dude

  • o ic there are limitation on the submarines in fresh or salt water........ if you have better antenna.... is a possible way that the sub will work on salt water?

  • Stingray Theme would have been better. heheheh!

  • Very cool.

  • Sir! there a fish on the radar!, man the battle stations!

  • @HOPEFOR1MILLION Timmy! time to go to bed!

  • where did you get it

  • ¡¡¡¿LA MUSICA NO ES DE LOS THUNDERBIRDS?

  • ¡¡¡BUENISIMO FELICITACIONES ¡¡¡

  • Very beautiful! Thanks!

  • Nice neighborhood. Great pond.

  • if i had one of these, this would be exactly what i would do with it...

  • wheres the fish?

  • how much was this and where did you get it because thats awsome

  • awesomeness!

  • Great Video! Wow

  • your camera is really nice

  • The Camera's on the sub when it was diving was like a scene right out of Ice Station Zebra!

  • so if their ar 2 camras why cant se them

  • super !!!

  • Great Love the music it took me back.Thunderbirds

  • roflcopter sighting at 3:35

  • impressive video. not bad for a blind drive too its vids like this that make me seriously think about busting my budget and starting this type of hobby

  • Its so Awesome. I only can say its PERFECT

  • very very very nice :)

  • Great video the fly by at the end with the plane was a great shot

Super Video, tolle Einstellungen. Echt sehr gut gemacht. Schaut euch mal unsere Seiten auf you tube an schiffsmodellbaulu

  • where did u buyed that? ebay?

  • where did you get the submarine

  • THIS IS WHY i DONT SWIM IN LAKES :/

  • What an awesome video. You really put a lot of effort into it. Fantastic job!

  • this is what all submariners need - the ability to see where they are going ! - can you watch as you go ?

  • nice tracks used fits well!!

  • I LOVED the choice of music. That incredibly inspiring Thunderbirds Theme.

Kudos for that terrific ending with the helicopter/sub - 2 shot and POV.

  • Fabulous !

Can there subs navigate in salt water ?

    I live seaside...

    Thanks

  • No. See previous questions and answers about radios and saltwater.

  • That is really quite imaginative. *****

  • Now that's entertainment, You should get a "Tubey" for the production! Awesome footage, great editing and way cool music.

Can't wait for the sequel !!

  • maintain the bubble at 3 feet cool

  • man a dream come tru! 5 stars

  • Nice touch with the helicopter at the end! Brilliant!

  • Did it come with the camera and how much was it?

  • massive coool!!!!!!!

  • Impressive. Was wondering if u had a transmitter from the sub showing (assuming u had screen to see) u what the camera was seeing while the sub was underwater?

  • No, unfortunately the radio frequencies you need to transmit video do not pass through water, so you either need a long cable or an aerial above the water. This video was a blind drive with a plain camera.

  • Nice work - best model submarine footage on here!

  • Really excellent underwater footage! Excellent job!

  • WOW nice work you really made a great video!!! Nice touch with the various angles and cameras!!! 5 star peformance.

  • what part of the county is this? i'm in southern california, the similarity is amazing

  • hard for me to say this as a kiwi but everyone is right. that is the coolest vid on the net. lot of effort put in with the different mounting positions really paid off. why doesn't any body else edit their footage as well as you? the cuts from one run foward facing cam to another with the reverse really make this a standout. gives it the realistic quality everyones amazed about. great choice of music. didn't see the fish though.

  • Thanks for the comment!

  • pretty effin cool vid guys. mad props. the ultimate would be to have a live camera feed from the sub so you can drive it around down there just like your own UUV.

  • Music 10/10

    Video 10/10

    Super Clip!

  • at 1:28 there is a fish in the sunken tree.

  • Great Film! I wish I could have an R/C Sub like that! I also like the helicopter at the end. Looks pretty expensive.

  • Wonderful Vid, Thanks.

  • Dude was ur cam live and recording? how did u know where the bottom of the lake ACTUALLY is?tell me dude please and if it is live can i get it on a RC plane

  • That was really cool!! How did the video camera not weigh it down?

  • Very tiny camera + counterbalance

  • how deep does it go

  • nice job you guys.

It's like going on a mini underwater adventure.

  • Fantastic model, movie and music, love it, well done. Great fun.

  • This was a treat, my late brother built a MK VII C

to his own design and scratch built. He would have loved this.We used make noises like the the theme tune from the movie " 20.000 Leagues under the sea" Thanks for that.

  • how deep did it go?!

  • That was of the most outstanding things I have ever seen. Kudos to you.

  • AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • how can you tell where the sub is when its underwater?

  • Usually you can see it. When you can't you just guess.

  • that is one really nice neighborhood!! is it yours??

  • This is fantastic. Great production value! Very well done.

  • hey ,i have a belt cp too.

where did you find those floats?

  • Just make them from polystyrene and solarfilm. Quite easy.

  • brilliant!! 5 stars stars for sure, even watched it several times. how deep can it go, and still receive your transmitter? Does it have a built in safety to blow its tanks?

  • Glad you liked it. It can go down to about 3 meters. It has auto tank blow if radio signal is lost and an emergency locating buoy that will pop up after 45 mins submerged.

  • the diving and surfacing was so realistic

  • awesome stuff!!

  • can it send out torpedos?

  • Awsome... Well done
