@samviti There are lots of street lights. They're visible in the video, but even more visible if you go to the link in the description and look at the Google Map Streetview scene of the area.
Were there any stop signs? I would love to learn more about the road and traffic rules. Around Minneapolis MN, USA many are from the western Europe. There are also lots that do not know what a stop sign or red lights means. I wonder where they learnt to drive. I don't believe the bad drivers are from Europe as they DO NOT yield to even children crossing intersections.
Still, that intersection is much better than anything I have seen in the US as far for bicycles...
@cyclenut The thick white lines should be interpreted as a stop sign here. I've never seen them without an accompanying stop sign, though. It might be the general suckiness of traffic signaling in Groningen (province).
@cyclenut Europe is big, this is the Netherlands, in Poland they drive far more aggresive then in the Netherlands. You won't stop for red sign? Its 243,54 U.S. dollars.
