i have the shadow trio i got it when i got my Halloween make up! i LOVE it it very nice smooth shadows, a little fallow out but it last all day(at least for me) LOVE this video too!!
Nice tutorial! I like the lighting in the video. Is it just daylight from the windows or do u have extra lighting in front of you? If so what kind? I have so much trouble with lighting :/
Just got this trio last night, and I tried it on almost immediately! Thanks for the tutorial, now I have a new way to wear it :D And btw, you are gorgeous, I can look at your face for hours!
@boizwish4me I almost always use a base colour with any shadow, but I've heard that it's not too pigmented. It seems fine to me when I swatched it on my hand though.
I love this so much! I always have a hard time keeping the black black in this color combo....! Combined the black always looks purple lol. But this look is perfect! You look amazing!
@themakeupsnob I totally have that issue too with black and duochrome pinks! I actually try to leave a spot just for black and tried not to contaminate it with the pink and I just reapply the black after blending. Thank you so much Sara! :)
If you really love the urban Decay liner [which i do myself, go urban decay!] haha but you should try the milani liquifeye pencil in the black color, it's amazing!!!
@Dragonfirezzzz You can use the colours exactly the same. Also, depending on how light your skin is, you may be able to use the white "browbone" colour on your browbone without it looking too drag queen-esque. :)
I really like this look! I'm not sure I can pull it off but I will have to get this little palette and give it a try! Love your hair by the way! You can pull off the short do really well!
i find myself anxiously waiting on new tutorials from you because i think your looks are always different, bold, and just plain awesome! this look did not disappoint one bit!!! i saw it yesterday on your blog and am wearing it today...that's how much i love it!!!! keep up the good work :-)
There are some mascaras out there that are supposed to curl your lashes for you. I've tried it and it actually worked really well. I don't know if it was just a trend or if it is still available, but that might be another option. Both Clinique and L'Oreal create one that I know of. Maybe other brands do, too.
loving your hair. Thank you so much for the tip on the mascara. I too have straight stubborn eyelashes, I curl them then apply mascara and they stay curled up for like half a second. I'm off to the store to buy waterproof mascara to give this a go. I also heard another tip which was to warm up your lash curler with a blow dryer and then curl your lashes. I would think thought that that would damage your lashes. I've never tried it nor tried the heated lash curlers. what do you think?
@maquiagem79 I have a heated eyelash curler and it still doesn't hold a curl for me after I apply regular mascara. I tried heating my curler up with a blow dryer in the past as well with the same result. :-\
I bought this and then looked and looked for vids on it. Nothing I really liked out there but I still loved the colors. Then when I looked under my subs lo' and behold you had done one!!! And it's wonderful, thanks and hope to see a few more on wet n wild!
Very pretty, and just a quick story, my husband and I were walking at the mall in Caesars Palace in Vegas, and saw a Inglot store (brilliant). I got so excited. I told my honey "look look that's what the gal I watch uses", What surprised me is he knew who I meant. Awwwww he does listen lol. Take care :)
Thank you so much! I have missed you and missed your videos. I hope school is going well. Loved the video. Be well and feel inspired more :-) you are so talented.
@Caralindagirl Thank you!! School is going really well! We are making prosthetics right now, which we're pretty much doing for the next 6 months, which is super fun. :)
@Victorian9322 I makeup sure I tap most of the loose shadow off my brush and then I gently pat the colour on a few times, then I start to sweep and blend. I never usually have too much of a fall out issue with this method. :)
I am loving how your hair is growing out! Super-short hair is very becoming on you! This look is very cool - love how the black is diffused against the super-bright pink, and it looks so nice with the lips. :) I've been also leaving my browline untouched (no highlight) when doing bolder looks lately, and I like the effect a lot... it seems to make the colors (or black) really pop!
@LydiaKrow I actually put my matte highlight on before I applied my shadows (Brulle). It's two shades lighter than my skin tone. I almost always use a matte highlight now though and just a little shimmer on my inner eye highlight. :)
@sokolum79 I do quite like matte, as well, especially with bolder looks for some reason. I love glitter in theory, but I don't have a lot of eye space, so the most I can get away with is a little shimmer on the lid, and it seems if I don't put any near my brow it looks better, so I've just gotten in that habit!
When I saw the commercial for Latisse I was tempted to try it to see what it would do to my eyelashes. My lashes are already long but I would like them to be thicker. The only problem is my eye lashes already hit my glasses and if they get any longer it may be annoying.
Goddddd your lips and this eye colour look so fricken' amazeballs with your skin and hair colour and shorter hair. You remind me now of a less ghostly Sinead O'connor. So stunningly beautiful
@TheStrangerSpeaks Awww, thank you Robert! I thought Sinead was so pretty back in the day. I'm forcing myself to not wear a hat more often and I am liking my hair more now, although I am still going to grow it out. :)
@NikkiTheGnerd Oohh, I never knew why it was waterproof, makes sense! I used to use a blow dryer to heat up my curlers, but it would just fall straight again after I applied regular mascara. :-\
idk why, but this look, the pink and black and your haircut. It looks so gorgeous on you. Just thought I'd share my thoughts. Love both your channels :D
i'm excited to see the results of your eyelashes... i see the latisse commercials where they show the progress of latisse after 6 weeks and i'm like "whooa... i wonder if it really works that well" :]
Have you ever tried Hot Topics eyeliners? I am blown away by how smooth and pigmented they are. They have gorgeous colors. I'm seriously in LOVE with them !
@sokolum79 I looked an they only say, for example, Lavender Pencil, Tourquoise Pencil.. I guess they don't really have a name lol. But they have a silver cap and a black fishnet-like pattern on the actualy pencil part.
Heather ~ I loved this look.....it goes in my favorites too! I already have the palette so I am excited to try the look. Love the color of your lips. Will have to go shopping for that. I have been buying oranges lately to go with all of my beautiful purples. Need some pinks. I am telling you.....seriously....I could sit and watch you do makeup looks forever and ever!! And I do believe that you are one of the most beautiful women that I have ever seen! Enjoy your weekend! Kisses~~Karen
@karenkupkake Awww, thank you so much Karen!! I love an orange and purple combo. Show Orchid is a beautiful creamy opaque lipstick, one of MAC's best lipsticks (next to Violetta and Up the Amp of course). ;)
OMG i am soooooo gonna get all those china glaze colours...well minus the black...already sprung for the opi black shatter.....are they as good though???
@nikkih891 They're pretty much exactly the same. Broken Hearted (pink) is more sheer, but it becomes more opaque as it cracks and adds to the look. :)
Love the tutorial! Im definetly goint to get that Wet and Wild palette.. But I have to contradict you about Latisse.. its not the only treatment that works.. Lilash works great, doesnt require a prescription and its cheaper :D
@Scarrr I go to the Vancouver Film School and I am in the Makeup for Film and Television program. It's a 12 month course, 9-5, Monday to Friday, so it's pretty intense for a makeup program. :)
That's a pretty look! Oh, there are some before and after vids using Talika, Dulash, etc. Seemed to have good results. People always run away with rumours w/o doing proper research. I just watched some vid where someone noticed a warning about an ingredient by State of CA. Most of the comments were by freaked out people who had no clue which ingredient it was or CA's slightly ridiculous safety labeling policies. They slap that label on everything. So easy to create a panic.
Doing this look tomorrow... don't have the palette but have similar colors and when I saw this tutorial I thought... I hope she is wearing "show orchid" and low and behold I was correct! Would you mind if I posted a vid response of the recreation?
I've been loving the new Wet 'N Wild palette out right now, and I love this look. I'm going to have to hunt down the palette you have so I can try it. Great tutorial.
@LibertineDeSade I am so impressed by Wet n Wild! I don't usually like drug store shadows because of the poor colour pay off and lack of interesting colours, but Wet n Wild definitely has some quality products. :)
@sokolum79 So true! I've been a fan of Wet 'N Wild but their shadows were always lacking. I think they're starting to step it up with pigments and what not. I have one of the small palettes in neutral (brown, beige, lighter beige) and I really like it.
I use both LiLash and Latisse. I like both. Latisse works faster but LiLash works too. I also do not use those brushes they give you. I use a liner brush that I clean regularly, basically everytime. It helps grab the liquid better and you end up using less product as well as precision.
@lyricaleloquence I do use a liner brush to apply Latisse and I clean it after with 99% alcohol. If you're using both at the same time, how can you tell if the LiLash is really working?
Pretty look! I have the Black Mesh China Glaze crackle with the white base and my friend got the pink and black set that your wearing and we both are in LOVE with them. Do you know if the OPI Shattered nail polish is better or worse? I've been curious.
Hi there...!!! I love your eye tutorial vids...!!! Please subscribe back.. thank you.. -kriz.

@TheRubyFeline People are afraid of things they don't know for sure. :)

I've been loving the new Wet 'N Wild palette out right now, and I love this look. I'm going to have to hunt down the palette you have so I can try it. Great tutorial.
LibertineDeSade 11 months ago
@LibertineDeSade I am so impressed by Wet n Wild! I don't usually like drug store shadows because of the poor colour pay off and lack of interesting colours, but Wet n Wild definitely has some quality products. :)
sokolum79 11 months ago
@sokolum79 So true! I've been a fan of Wet 'N Wild but their shadows were always lacking. I think they're starting to step it up with pigments and what not. I have one of the small palettes in neutral (brown, beige, lighter beige) and I really like it.

I use both LiLash and Latisse. I like both. Latisse works faster but LiLash works too. I also do not use those brushes they give you. I use a liner brush that I clean regularly, basically everytime. It helps grab the liquid better and you end up using less product as well as precision.
lyricaleloquence 11 months ago
@lyricaleloquence I do use a liner brush to apply Latisse and I clean it after with 99% alcohol. If you're using both at the same time, how can you tell if the LiLash is really working?

Pretty look! I have the Black Mesh China Glaze crackle with the white base and my friend got the pink and black set that your wearing and we both are in LOVE with them. Do you know if the OPI Shattered nail polish is better or worse? I've been curious.
MoGeLy92 11 months ago
@MoGeLy92 I have Shattered and I think they're pretty much the same, although I didn't bother grabbing the black China Glaze Crackle because of that.
