Wow @ the sour grapes. Is it really that bad that a classic like this is on 3D bluray and was in the theaters? I mean dont we all live by choice on whether or not you would want to see an older title. Hollywood sucks now, and I agree its sad that people are seeing a 10 year something old movie at the theater. That tells us all something about the current movie Bizz. But lay off those wanting to experience these classics again.

@chiraine1 I think it's great, though I have it on VCR (my parents have all of the older disney movies on VCR) so I won't be seeing it in theatre. I think it's great that they are re releasing it. It hasn't been in stores for a long time. So the 00's generation hasn't been able to see Lion King. They get the chance to see it and I think it's great. They haven't switched anything they are just making it in 3D, they aren't ruining it. You can still watch it without 3D. It's still the same movie.

As I was eating lunch today at school some kid said something about how often The Lion King commercial played, and I turned around to look at the T.V. across the lunchroom, expecting the 3D commercial, saw that it was Blu-Ray, did a double take, and yelled "WOOOOOOOO!" unintentionally ;D I nearly cried I was so happy that I didn't have to wait anymore! I'm so fortunate to be in the young generation and know and love this kind of stuff ;)

I was 6 years old when I went to the theatre in 1994 to see this film. Now, I'm taking my niece who is 7 to see it. I'm sure she's gonna love it as well! There aren't movies like this nowadays.... Even though I have to admit I absolutely love Rango and Rio! :D
