It's the sign of a good composer to "mix" a main theme throughout all his songs for that game/movie, and usually you'll have another corrosponding theme of sadness/conflict which will be mixed in. So from two or more themes you get a whole bunch of other songs. This gives it continuity so people feel the music change, instead of just hearing the music change :) Anyway, good cover :)
maybe you're really tiny in the whole world but you're an unreachable star for all of us your fans :) by the way i have the perfect sugestion for you to play. Jesters of the moon from ffIX. you haven't done anything in that good old schoold wicked silent film style.
I love the game FFIX, it was probably in my top 2 favorite FF games, and this was probably my favorite song from that game. very soothing and relaxing. You can capture emotion exceptionally lonlon. Thanks again.
is it me, or is this close as hell to Melodies of Life? just in a different key perhaps? great playing, but it sounds too much like melodies of life to me
It is a different arrangement of melodies of life. I guess he liked to play around with one piece and see what else he could do to it. Same was done with some pieces in Final Fantasy VI if you listen closely (especially Terra's theme).
I wanted to start practicing this song right away! But I can't find the sheet/tabs for this song... And I can't figure the tabs out myself. :P But this really is awesome playing, keep posting! :D
wow, i've never heard this version before. you are so talented. yet still i feel no jealousy towards you just happiness. and seeing you play these musical pieces makes me more determined to become a better musician.
Well if you're a serious classical player, you'll probably want to grow out your nails and smooth them with a nail file. If you're just doing classical as a hobby, then it's really not worth it because the long nails can get pretty annoying and you'll get asked alot about them. Yeah there's a huge difference though in tone if you grow out your nails. Up to you.
Wah, first time i hear this song guitar version . Cool ..... oh yeah, do guitarist have to keep their nails long or short ? Classical and acoustic player
Stunning. No matter what you are playing, it gives me the chills. This particualr melody makes me want to cry, but that's okay. It's beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
it is lovly as usual. Does anyone see the resemblance of this song to "Melodies of life. I noticed a lot of songs are similar in that game seemed to be kinda similar. am i the only one. Once again youve played a lovely song and done it well.
absolutely beautiful Lon! I love it. You've inspired me to arrange certain final fantasy songs also and it's really helping. I guess I'd like to say thanks for the gorgeous arrangements and a special thanks for the inspiration =]. - Ducky
I'm playing FFVIII again solely because I heard your many renditions of FFVIII songs. Now, I want to play FFIX as well, thanks to this wonderful work!
