Did you have a guide book to find all these places in details (including the Shifty Powers "window"), or did you just walk around and check out for each places?
Well done. Thank you for producing this. We must never forget the incredible courage and sacrifice that these men and all who fought in WWII. Honor, selflessness....We can't possibly understand what it felt like to be in a fox hole with sub zero temperatures and rounds exploding all around. I am currently reading Beyond Band of Brothers.
i know all the places were the fought by foy and bastogne en i surch a lot of times in that erea (i found a lot of things) great video! greats from belgium
Wow!!! Great video! I can't believe some of the original fox holes are still there? That's incredible. You did a great job at the memorial and showing and describing the window where Shifty took out snipers. Excellent ending also. Very well done. Thank you for producing this and THANK YOU to ALL heros in Easy Co. and ALL our past and present WW2 vets!!! I thank them all each and every day and will NEVER FORGET what they did for ALL of US!!!
@petekilde im glad people from around the world like yourself are preserving the memory and stories of these giants among me. we are loosing thems o fast today
it doesent matter that the war ended now allmost 70 years ago.
there, on those places, now even when there's snow on the ground, WW2 still haunts those places and you actually can see and inmagine the German shells comming down. I would'nt wanted to spen a night in that Forrest. It gives me the Creeps!
band of brothers is very close to me...i have the dvd collection as well as bill gurnears [wrong spelling] utube site..books, film...im a member of dick winters website as well....i was a little shocked they would let anyone reanact on the original site.....dosnt seem right like u said pete......5 stars mate.!
