PHUN - Sliding Hinge Trebuchet (Scene Download Available)

Not entirely a "Trebuchet" but pretty cool

Trebuchets use a sort of sling with a ball in the center and a pin holding the ends of the sling together

which runs along a chute at the base

and the pin comes off at a certain point from the force of the arm swinging ( or just from gravity... not sure :P)

and then.. like a slingshot it whips around and the ball flies out

how do i us the scences i download !??!

and when i try 2 open thm it brings up a internet exploer and tells me 2 save agin

you need to put the scene in the scenes folder in phun.

when i click on the link many words come soo on who to click to download

Right mouse click the link and choose "Save Link As...", then you can save the file to your PHUN directory, which is most likely C:\Program Files\Phun\Scenes\

It actually flies quite a bit farther than it seems in the video. I edited out a bunch of the flight time because it was boring to watch.

ya i downloaded it and got it to go about 30 times as long as the arm very nice and quite realistic :)
