Sprinting is kinda of annoying now. And the recoil on almost every gun now is really getting frustrating. Im pretty sure in real life no one lets their gun fly all over the place like you do when you fire lets just say the ak for instance. Even after you put accuracy on it still kinda goes all over the place if you shoot more then 10 bullets. And why the fuck doesnt the m9 have accuracy to buy? If it did i would definately use that over the ak
UC3 sucks, that's for sure. Clunky controls, poor movement, aiming and sight controls, poor cover system etc. The maps are hideous, and horribly put together. The weapons are absolutely crap. The AK-47 is one of the most renowned and well built assault rifles ever made, and you couldn't hit a fucking house with the thing from twenty feet, in this game. This game is a cartoonish joke.

I totally agree with you. I am a die hard Uncharted fan, but the beta is crap. UC3 multiplayer (beta) is so different from UC2. If I wanted to play a crappy game I'd play Black Ops. UC3 reminds so much of COD. This games feels so different in a way I can't really describe. Its like taking the magic out of Harry Potter. Naughty Dog, I better see some improvements when the game is released because your multiplayer (beta) for UC3 is crap...it sucks.

UC3 BETA is sucks because it's nothing like singleplayer mode and too many glitches and the graphics of multiplayer are half cartoony so I will play a singleplayer mode then after finishing UC3, put it away. End of Naughty Dog

Tips for you:
1) Stop jumping. You can't shoot (blindfire was nerfed) while you do.
2) Stop trying to rush and hit people like in Uncharted 2. Threre's a reason why Naughty Dog made it so that you slow down when you get shot at.

Jump smartly, to get your self in a good position or to escape a tight spot.
Blindfire, when you have to move fast (say, a guy with a shotgun chasing you).
Rush, when you softened the enemy up enough.
Throw grenades, don't drop them on your feet.
Uncharted is about vertical cover based action. Shit like dropping grenades on your feet and bunny hopping detract from that. Things like bigger and more open maps add to it.
Power plays discourages camping. Cheap boosters? *cough* SA.

I've been playing on this beta for awhile and I agree that it totally sucks. There's too many people who are playing online for it who don't have any skills and they use exploits/bugs to rack up kills (and they are cheap too). I played on U2 and yet had a 2:1 ratio for the whole match -- it feels more balanced and you can tell who are really good at it. I hope Naughty Dog looks at the complaints and decide to make multiplayer more like U2 and less of this powerplay/kickback crap.

I'm also an UC2 MP fan and is disappointed at UC3 beta. Not because I suck, it is just not as fun for some reason. It feels way to slow and clunky. Powerplay is the dumbest thing ever. It rewards sucky players. Also remove that overtime shit.

@devonlour "the sprint button is an OPTION" Its a necessity unless you want to trudge around like Marcus Fenix. Power plays are great and original (It's a concept I see being mimicked down the line). Customization is excellent. Perks coupled with tiers are great as well. I'm now a lvl 20 and the game feels sluggish still. THe movement is what is killing it for a lot of people.
I agree with you. Thank god I'm not alone here. Hate the concept of power play and kickbacks. And I hate it even more they insert you into a deathmatch game right in the MIDDLE of it. Like you said, it doesn't have the feel of what made U2 special at all, though it's hard to put it into words. The only things U2 need to improve was take out the cheating booster aka Situational Awareness, the bad spawn points and an option to disallow booster in a match. And then more skins, maps, the usual.

i dont know about the guns....ive seen comments saying AK is better than M9 and M9 is weak and AK is more powerful ...but if you have complains dont bitch about that....go to ND forums and leave feedback there....the only complaints i have is the auto ammo thing....it should be optional and the triangle to throw back granades....i end up picking a new gun and end up dieing in an explosion...and of course the sprint is a good feature but i wish i could run faster in normal speed

Remember how loose the camera movement was in Uncharted 2 with the camera sensitivity turned all the way off. Hell, even without Fleet Foot aiming in UC2 multiplayer, it felt much better than this.

@BHFhq I do feel disappointed with the beta, it would be fun if I hadn't played uc2 before, i was expecting changes like maps and boosters and that kind of stuff, i even welcome the kickbacks because they add a little variety but all the stuff u talked about in the video is true, granades and pistols are useless and the controls feel unresponsive, the lightning is horrrible, u can't see inside buildings from outside and when u enter 1 it takes seconds to b able 2 see, at least in the chateau.

@BHFhq Tweaks? Don't hold back my friend. Vets like us can tell the game is slowed down to a crawl and its stiff. I was bored after 3 matches because it simply IS NOT uncharted. ND needed to build off of the flawless movement of Uncharted 2 and build of of that. They fixed everything that did not need fixing.
To make matters worse everyone on the Naughty Dog forums is saying everything is perfect. If the SP is this stiff, awkward and slow, I'm not getting it day 1 as planned. ND fucked it up!
The people at the forums always defend these games to the bitter death. I remember when Killzone 3 beta was out and people didn't like it, and some turds refused to acknowledge the game was bad cuz "we don't want it to be like COD." Next thing the entire game was screwed up at launch and the community bailed. The same thing is happening here. Sprint sucks, Old Snake with a cane could outrun Drake, shooting feels weird and the reticle is gay. Yet no one admits these are issues.
There are some issues however. The marksman and infiltrator classes are overpowered, you need a longer sprint bar because it can barely get you up a flight of stairs, and the M82 needs some more recoil (don't know if GG fixed this). Additional health would be better as well. Also a five second respawn makes the medic's job harder. If people acknowledged these problems that were happening in the beta, the game would have been much better.

And try turning vibration off, you'll see that it is what gives the "heavy" feel to the game, so if you don't like it, just turn it off! Yeah I agree about the pistol. But I also don't wan't it to be recoilless so people can snipe with it like in uc2.

@fuclesh Unreal engine 3.9 surpasses frostbite and Cryengine by far. It's just it's given free by Epic games to developers who don't know how to use it. Look at the 3.9 technical demo. Epic and a couple of other developers seem to be the only ones who actually know how to use it so it's not a piece of crap.

Yeah, and a game where all you do is just bunny hop and throw grenades at your feet is a retarded one. Naughty Dog agrees with me, and that's why they changed Uncharted to not include any of that bullshit.
Tips for you:
1) Stop jumping. You can't shoot (blindfire was nerfed) while you do.
2) Stop trying to rush and hit people like in Uncharted 2. Threre's a reason why Naughty Dog made it so that you slow down when you get shot at.
3) Stop throwing grenades. Ditto w/ 1.

2. No Turret:: thank god
3. No Buddy Spawning:: shooting a guy, his/her partner comes in, ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE
4. Climbing has consequences:: you climb like a Planet Ape and get with enemy fire like *snap*
5. Boosters are balanced:: SAvEV; DTIvRH; etc...:: UC3 boosters='see enemy player who killed your buddy'
6. No Power Plays::
7. Everybody has the same advantage:: No weapon unlocks/plane spawn

Jump smartly, to get your self in a good position or to escape a tight spot.
Blindfire, when you have to move fast (say, a guy with a shotgun chasing you).
Rush, when you softened the enemy up enough.
Throw grenades, don't drop them on your feet.
Uncharted is about vertical cover based action. Shit like dropping grenades on your feet and bunny hopping detract from that. Things like bigger and more open maps add to it.
Power plays discourages camping. Cheap boosters? *cough* SA.

I've been playing on this beta for awhile and I agree that it totally sucks. There's too many people who are playing online for it who don't have any skills and they use exploits/bugs to rack up kills (and they are cheap too). I played on U2 and yet had a 2:1 ratio for the whole match -- it feels more balanced and you can tell who are really good at it. I hope Naughty Dog looks at the complaints and decide to make multiplayer more like U2 and less of this powerplay/kickback crap.

I'm also an UC2 MP fan and is disappointed at UC3 beta. Not because I suck, it is just not as fun for some reason. It feels way to slow and clunky. Powerplay is the dumbest thing ever. It rewards sucky players. Also remove that overtime shit.

i personally love this game of course its not going to be like uncharted 2 they have to do something to change and like stated in a comment below you should think of powerplays as a challenge when the other team has them... kickbacks are kickbacks you really cant do anything about them yes there annoying when someone uses theirs on you but when your using your on some one else its incredibly fun.... the sprint button is an OPTION if someone dosnt like sprint dont use it

@devonlour "the sprint button is an OPTION" Its a necessity unless you want to trudge around like Marcus Fenix. Power plays are great and original (It's a concept I see being mimicked down the line). Customization is excellent. Perks coupled with tiers are great as well. I'm now a lvl 20 and the game feels sluggish still. THe movement is what is killing it for a lot of people.

I agree with you. Thank god I'm not alone here. Hate the concept of power play and kickbacks. And I hate it even more they insert you into a deathmatch game right in the MIDDLE of it. Like you said, it doesn't have the feel of what made U2 special at all, though it's hard to put it into words. The only things U2 need to improve was take out the cheating booster aka Situational Awareness, the bad spawn points and an option to disallow booster in a match. And then more skins, maps, the usual.

Respawing in an unknown out of bounds location where everything is blue.

In the Aiirport map, the location where you're hanging on a screenless window to get the desert 5, I pulled someone down anyway when they're hanging on the other side.

i dont know about the guns....ive seen comments saying AK is better than M9 and M9 is weak and AK is more powerful ...but if you have complains dont bitch about that....go to ND forums and leave feedback there....the only complaints i have is the auto ammo thing....it should be optional and the triangle to throw back granades....i end up picking a new gun and end up dieing in an explosion...and of course the sprint is a good feature but i wish i could run faster in normal speed

@BHFhq I do feel disappointed with the beta, it would be fun if I hadn't played uc2 before, i was expecting changes like maps and boosters and that kind of stuff, i even welcome the kickbacks because they add a little variety but all the stuff u talked about in the video is true, granades and pistols are useless and the controls feel unresponsive, the lightning is horrrible, u can't see inside buildings from outside and when u enter 1 it takes seconds to b able 2 see, at least in the chateau.

@BHFhq Tweaks? Don't hold back my friend. Vets like us can tell the game is slowed down to a crawl and its stiff. I was bored after 3 matches because it simply IS NOT uncharted. ND needed to build off of the flawless movement of Uncharted 2 and build of of that. They fixed everything that did not need fixing.
To make matters worse everyone on the Naughty Dog forums is saying everything is perfect. If the SP is this stiff, awkward and slow, I'm not getting it day 1 as planned. ND fucked it up!

I remember when Killzone 3 beta was out and people didn't like it, and some turds refused to acknowledge the game was bad cuz "we don't want it to be like COD." Next thing the entire game was screwed up at launch and the community bailed. The same thing is happening here. Sprint sucks, Old Snake with a cane could outrun Drake, shooting feels weird and the reticle is gay. Yet no one admits these are issues.

There are some issues however. The marksman and infiltrator classes are overpowered, you need a longer sprint bar because it can barely get you up a flight of stairs, and the M82 needs some more recoil (don't know if GG fixed this). Additional health would be better as well. Also a five second respawn makes the medic's job harder. If people acknowledged these problems that were happening in the beta, the game would have been much better.

@tupacnwa4lyfe The movement is just the same thing as uc2, there's only some problems with the climbing, which will be tweaked, since it's a BETA. And try turning vibration off, you'll see that it is what gives the "heavy" feel to the game, so if you don't like it, just turn it off! Yeah I agree about the pistol. But I also don't wan't it to be recoilless so people can snipe with it like in uc2.
PS: Like if anyone could suck at UC2 after 1.05, lol.

I've play tested both MP betas and I can honestly say...
Game play: Gears of war 3, I can't even get more then one game in Uncharted 3 without the game crashing.
Graphics: Why does it seem like the graphics in Uncharted 3 haven't improved? Gears of war 3.
Matchmaking: Gears of war 3, longest I waited for a beta match in Gears 3 beta was two minutes. Uncharted just can't seem to find matches at all.
I think I'll be picking up Gears 3 before my PS3 crashes again...

and Uncharted 2 is still the best looking game around. what would be the point of improving the best?

@fuclesh The thing about a beta is it's supposed to have a couple of flaws, I'm alright with that. But it's not beta if you can't test never the less play it! And Uncharted 2 may be the best but Uncharted 3 hasn't improved much do to it's mediocre and non-updated engine.

Homefront uses Unreal engine, theres nothing next gen about that piece of crap. and Kz3 engine is waaaay better than Crysengine. atleast you dont get fram rate drops and screen tear in KZ3 but you do in Next gen Cryengine. seriously, learn and educate yourself before you start with your BS

@fuclesh Unreal engine 3.9 surpasses frostbite and Cryengine by far. It's just it's given free by Epic games to developers who don't know how to use it. Look at the 3.9 technical demo. Epic and a couple of other developers seem to be the only ones who actually know how to use it so it's not a piece of crap.

@fuclesh Gears of war 3s engine is still far more developed. Along with more development time. I believe Gears of war 3 will be better then Uncharted 3.
