Objaśniam wszystkim polskojęzycznym internautom. Kiszka to nie to samo, co kaszanka. Do wyroby kiszki używana była krew wieprzowa z kaszą manną (to bardzo drobna kaszka). Do wyrobu kaszanki używana jest mieszanina krwi wieprzowej z grubą kaszą gryczaną lub jęczmienną. W Polsce kiszka chyba już całkowicie zanikła. Nie widziałem tego ani w sklepach, ani przy świniobiciach co najmniej od 40 lat.

I'm from Poland and I never heard about Kiszka as a food. It is just intestine to fill with different meat to produce kiełbasa. If you put blood and kasza it will be Kaszanka. And additionally Polka is a traditional Czech dance.

Grew up in Little Warsaw in Cleveland, OH and this was blood sausage. The other food that seems to be regional in Poland is the duck blood soup , czarnina. Needless to say, I married an Italian.
