@Yannis390 @Yannis390 I doubt it, you'd need higher end programs like after effects or motion. there's a good tutorial for blood hits on youtube just search "shoot your friends" by corridor digital

Excellent job except you could have added in the background noise in the shooting part of the video, I noticed the cutoff of the background noise when you started shooting. However, I am a perfectionist, so it's just your preference.

you crossed the camera line, when the guy with the m4 carbine was shooting you then cut to a shot on the other side of him this adds confusion to the audience of who is who and where he is, this can be good if you mean it but if you want the audience to have a firm grasp of whats happening it's best to have the camera shot with him still facing left, I believe there are a few tutorials on youtube for this. Sorry if I sound like a prick but just a little advice to help you.

I can tell the background ambience sound getting muted right before he starts shooting. Fix that. Also, use the same muzzle flash for both shots and don't use the second one. Reason being is that the second muzzle flash, the one where lines of muzzle fire blossom around it, only occurs on guns with side slits on the tip of the barrel for the fire to protrude out of which doesn't occur on an M16. It's not a different angle of a muzzle flash. Everything else is fine.

a quik tip, dont switch from star shaped muzzleflash to normal muzzleflash. some of the only guns that do have a star shaped muzzleflash ar smg's and m4/m16s. but other than that really good. :)

@BERTEDUS To do the light-flash effect, you need to duplicate your video and place them on-top of eachother in your software. Then you take the top layer, and you mask out the spots where you'd like to see a flash effect. Could be clothes, background areas. Then with that same upper layer, simply make it brighter! Add some blur so that it looks realistic and not so linear and there you go, you got some fancy muzzle flash Now you mix this with a muzzle flash stock video and there you go :-)

@DutchKoala99 To get great sound effects, you might think you have to buy them off some fancy website. But actually, if you search right here on youtube for gun sounds, you can download the flv (flash) video file using online youtube-downloading software (google it), then you can use a basic converter and extract only the sound and badaboom, you got yourself a great sound effect! :-)

My advice for your muzzle flares would be to make them bigger.

And if you don't make them bigger, make them CONSTANT! The first angle had flares designed for pistols.

Assault rifle noses have holes in the muzzles which will create the flares you had in the second angle.

Other than that, it's all lookin good! :)

@Robozarm just find an area of high contrast on your actor's body which in my case was little paint blotches on his jacket, you just motion track that dot then apply the track to a null object then link your blood spatter to said null objects.

@GRstopmotion just play around with it. muzzle flashes are completely random so you dont want them showing up at every single shot or every other shot space em out a couple frames.
