Some people can't respect what members of the Armed Forces do. I come from a military family and I am a Navy Underwater EOD and the amount of disrespect is sicking. Some of you lazy sacks of crap don't deserve to be protected by us.
When China sinks a US aircraft carrier because of it's proximity to China somewhere, that's when all your eyes will open up. We don't have the ability to fight against China. In literal terms, half of their entire population can be mobilized to do something during war. We can't even begin to imagine the wrath they could impose on us.

Anyone who has any kind of military studies knowledge knows that China lacks the ability to conduct large scale military operation outside of eastern Asia. China themselves have stated it as a military goal to improve their military mobility. They lack the logistical infrastructure to move the majority of their military out of their own region let alone maintain supply lines to it.

To his credit the Royal guard in front of him didn't twitch but rather stomped his foot and saluted (as the officer had I'm guessing now come close enough to demand it). Carbon steel happens to melt between temperatures of 2600 to 2800 degrees fahrenheit depending on the oxygen content of the surrouding area. Jet fuel, the supposed propellant of the "attack" burns at temperatures between 800 to 1200 degrees (same conditions)

@Spare14All Plenty get deployed right alongside Marines and Army, right in the middle of red zones.
Me and a few other EOD techs defuse IEDs, car bombs, explosive weapon caches and any other improvised explosives that get reported to us in Iran. We're right there, with our hands on ordinance that could blow a crater in the ground.
Our medics, pararescues, TAC-Ps and EOD technicians die monthly because we're out there sticking our necks out for infantry. Don't ever say an Airman is a coward.

The men fighting in these wars also have a family to come back to. I know you understand the people fighting didn't chose to invade a country. Even at extreme pressures and mixed with oxidizers, jet fuel burns NOWHERE NEAR. the required temperatures to jeopardize the integrity of Steel. If you believe that is what brought the building down then logically the same melting would occur as the fuel is burned inside of the jet engine, melting it to pieces and rendering it useless.....as we all know, this does not occur. i need not go any further. This could be the example of a plane crashing into the side of a building and taking away much of the support. I am a welder and a practiced blacksmith. ive been working with the forging of metals most of my life. even after being a hobby, i took metallurgy to a college level. dont believe me if you want but its irrelevant, look it up if you wish. Carbon steel happens to melt between temperatures of 2600 to 2800 degrees fahrenheit depending on the oxygen content of the surrouding area. Jet fuel, the supposed propellant of the "attack" burns at temperatures between 800 to 1200 degrees (same conditions)

For some reason i have to agree with you. Often, heavily drilled soldiers seem to behave like trained animals. All they know is to follow orders. They seem to have lost their individuality, ethics and philosophy in sacrifice for being a bloodthirsty weapon of war. Hence, one could say, they have lost some of their humanity. They are even drilled to feel proud for that. How sad.

It is a set core of values based on a long history of traits atributted from history all the way back to the first U.S. Marines in the Revolution. The Corps provides the basis of brotherhood in combat, not political brainwashing (china or n. korea), and therefore, the Marine Corps is a place where only the best in physical condition and ability can excel and work as a unified team.
