No mater what 'style' they claim it is, it makes them bigger commissions rather than doing what is right for the consumer. It is no different than the mindset for the variable rate loans that were sold. The agent 'justifies' his sale in that the person 'now has insurance'. The problem here is that the client is either over-paying for expensive 'savings type' insurance or they are drastically under-insured because they can't buy enough face amount to properly cover the family. It's a scam.
All this video talks about how WFG scam peoples are the one that are scam. They all try to sell you something, this video show a business that is going nowhere. You taking new people money to pay those who join earlier.
Wow this is awesome, where can I sign up, I am so excited! I am a gullible fucking idiot and this sounds like something I could do in my spare time. I want residual income and build my organization with endless income potential. 3 X 3 X 3 .... I can do that! ... I can be successful! ... Your intelligent and professional presentation has sold me. I can do it! I want to make money the same way you do! I am getting goose bumps just thinking about it! ... Hey ... wait a minute... Is this MLM?
@carsonc29 All you have to do is read the Senate Subcommittee hearing that Senator Metzenbaum chaired regarding the insurance products that are intentionally designed to rip people off. It includes all types of 'savings type' life insurance contracts. All consumer watchdog organizations recommend staying away from these bogus plans that bundle your savings into a life insurance contract. They all recommend level term with a separate savings program (IRA, voluntary account, etc.).
@nododon i would have to totally agree with you on that last part..it is senseless to have your savings and retirement accounts tied to an insurance prodcut...never heard of a car insurance company adding a savings plan to its insurance, cause thet wouldnt make sense, its car insurance, pure and simple
@carsonc29 One other thing you might want to consider. The life insurance industry is not regulated by any national body. They are state regulated and each state elect or the governor appoints the insurance commissioner. That means they are 'self' regulated because nobody is out there looking out for the consumer. Just take a UVL policy and try and read it. It's almost hilarious how confusing they make it. People will typically want to put them in a drawer after the second page.
@nododon its also funny to read the comments on the people who sell it, tryin to concivnce themselves that its a good investement, even tho most of me dont even own the product themselves..and your right, noone is out there lookin out for people, banks knew their subprimes were goin to implode, but i never heard of any bank hosting any seminars teaching people how to avoid their toxic loans or how to pay off your mortgage earlier..that would not be benificail to them, business wise
How's THIS for a scam, LOL! This video has NOTHING to do with World Financial Group but RIDE on the web-traffic that it WFG is generating to get more people to sign up for this profile's website. This product may be good...but what a "bait n' switch" here, eh?
1/2 WFG is a proper company that provides a real opportunity. those of you who say its a scam, think about it, how could it be a scam? with all the companies that its working with, with 30 years of establishment. why would it be a scam? what do they want from you? what good is it for them if someone joins their company or not, its not like its a website or something. they do make money of the people who are working, and thats business.
2/2 nd everyone around me is making. the only bad thing about wfg is that it allows people from all walks of life to join and thats why alot of people dont have a business mentality therefore they think its a scam. please get real
My co-worker is very pleased with WFG, she has tried constantly to get me to come to a meeting. I told her I would do research first, she even said someone from WFG would come to me...excuse me? Im a very open minded person but if a company is that desperate to come to me, my red flag comes out. from the looks of it, seems WFG offers dreams to the less fortunate thus taking them for a ride.
@MzTXcreole let me start by saying this, i am not in WFG, never heard of it until recently, but i do have to comment on the part where you said, "if a company is that desperate to come to me, my red flag comes out."..maybe they just wana make it convient for you?...why make you drive somewhere when they can just save the the time, and gas money to come to you?..why does a bank let you moniter your account online? do they think your too lazy to come to them? or maybe they just want
@MzTXcreole to make things more convient for you, so you dont have to come to the bank or drive to an atm to monitor your balance, or whatever you need to do?
WFG do not believe they are a pyramid, they call it team building. Excuse me but with my work experiences, I do not recall any of my colleagues, supervisor and higher, taking a percentage of my paycheck.
@Pepper6464 would you call real estate a scam? reason why is ask is because a broker can recuit and train other agents, and will get paid off thier efforts, even tho they do not have to be present during the sale..thats sounds to me like the broker is takin a part of every selling agents paycheck...better sound the scam alert
@carsonc29 Nobody is born owning land to sell to others. So yes real estate is a scam. Land like air and water should be free. Men's greed lies in the desire of ownership. But I guess that is the society, capitalism, the US is built on.
I had the unfortunate to meet some WFG people who recruited me. They never tell you what they sell upfront because it's all so complicated and varied. Yeah right, like the financial products they sell is unique etc. These people are totally like a cult. They refuse to see other people's points of views. I told them if they are recruit someone and that new recruit started to recruit others, they are building a pyramid. But these freaks don't see it that way and called it team building. Bull shit!
@Pepper6464 wow, you seem very narrow minded..EVERY organzation recruits..if you were to draw out the outline of any church, corportation, pro sports team..they would all be in the shape of a pyramid with one main person at the top reaping most if not all of the benefit..maybe the issue isnt them not seein your point of view, maybe its you thnkin your point of view is right?..they might work in a way similiar to realesate where a broker can recruit and train agents, and they make
@carsonc29 No doubt that in our capitalist society, everything is like a pyramid. The difference between WFG and other entities is that those who are recruited into an organization get benefits right away. New recruits in WFG don't even get paid training while other organization pay for your training along with other benefits.
@Pepper6464 the type business that people get paid during training and immediate benifts are called jobs, WFG, from my undersdtanding is a business opportunity..if a person got involed with this company and built a client base and team of people that paid him or her, 10k a month 120k per yr, they really wouldnt need to have any benifits, there are not to many surgeries or things you or your kids may need that 120k wont provide
@carsonc29 Builing a client base and a team of people that can earn you 10k a month or 120k a year takes YEARS! Most people, especially in these tough economic times CANNOT AFFORD to piss away benefits for a business opporunity that are not guranteed years down the road. Like all business opportunies, you have to put up a large amount of money just to get started. It is easier for people who already have money to start. If you don't have the money, you borrow and be in more debt. Not so smart.
@Pepper6464 who said it takes alot of money to get involved, and who said you have to start fulltime? not every buss opp takes a ton of money to start..most give you the chance to start part time, learn a buss w/o giving up your fulltime job and all those precious benifts..your gonna have to provide some stats for those claims, you cant just make a genralized opinion and try to pass it off as facts, now thats not so smart
@carsonc29 True WFG let's you start part time with $100 startup cost but they still won't give you paid training. You would have to find other work to pay for your business opportunity such as getting your insurance license swhich can cost you hundreds of dollars and other business expenses. You won't earn money right away with WFG, and you'll start in the red. You're not very smart if you want to start in debt.
@Pepper6464 ot if the company pays the licensing fees...are you sure you wanna wanna reexamine that last part of you comment "You're not very smart if you want to start in debt".does not EVERY start up business start off in the red?..ill answer that for you, its a yes...if i wanted to start a buiness, lets say my own resturant, i have to go into debt gettin a small loan from a bank, buy all my inventory(food, beverage ect), all that money is spent b4 i ever open my doors to any
@carsonc29 I'll reexamine my previous statement of going into deb. All business go into deb when starting out. Just like when you decide to get a college education. Same thing.
@Pepper6464 customers, you are not very smart if you failed to take that into consideration...startin a business takes risk and money, a job does not..but then again thats why business owners make more than employees, they take risk and realize nothin of any real value comes free...does a lawyer get paid for training while they are in school learing to be a lawyer, no, does a med school student get paid while they are studying, no..a business owner choses to get paid on the value
@Pepper6464 a career and a job are 2 diff things depending on the person you ask, believe it or not, but not everyone looks at what they do as their career, its just something they do to make money to pay their bills and survive...its still a job, career is might just a fancy way of sayin it, a trashman is still a trash man, weatherthey say it like that, or say "sanitation engineer", its still all the same
@carsonc29 How can you compare someone who is in college to someone who isn't? Medical and Law students choose to study their field. They don't get paid because they choosen to study to benefit themselves. People who are working should get paid because they are still providing a service to somebody else, their employers not just themselves.
@Pepper6464 they provide, while an employee chooses to get paid based on their time, which is why an employee will always have limited pay, are you so sure that a person cant make money in WFG right away? is that based on facts and research, or just stipulation and assumption? besides, most businesses wont start to earn a profit until after some time put in, what you said isnt something that is uncommon in any business
@carsonc29 You just said WFG is a numbers game. So of course people can't make money right away unless they already have insurnace license and a good amount of clients. That can take months to secure. You said 'most businessnes wont start to earn profit until some time put into it and then you implied you can make money with WFG right away.' You just contridicted yourself.
@Pepper6464 you can make money in WFG or any MLM, but to the amounts that you can quit your day job and start planning on what beach front property tou want to buy, then no, that will take some time, but i have heard of people who got into who exploded real quick, made real money right away, just depends on the person..in a typical business you will make money, but after payin off any debt you used to start the business and all the overhead cost, your lucky to break even, in an MLM
@Pepper6464 or i should say some MLM, i realize not all work the same way and are viable business, but for the ones who are viable, since you typicall dont have any overhead, cause the sponser company cover thats, you have a better chance to keep any of the money you make, but it depends on the time a person puts in,how fast they can learn the product and sales techniques, ect..
@Pepper6464 investing in you for the long term you say??? interesting, then why do companies elimiate jobs here to outsource somewhere else, and why do they lay people off?..seems to me if your going to invest in someone longterm, you wouldnt let them go..you do realize a companies biggest expenese aka liability, is its employees right? so you dont think a company wont eliminate their "long term investments" if they can find a cheaper way of doin that particular job?
@carsonc29 Laying people off is the last resort to cut costs. It is unfotunate situtation. Not only do employers have to lay off people they also know they are laying off talented people who they invested so much in. It is like selling expensive equipment to save $. It is a lost on both ends. Employees are the biggest liability as well as the biggest reward. The more talent and experience an employee has the more of a liability they are as they take on important roles, It is an equal trade off.
@carsonc29 A company would let go of their long term investment if they can find a cheaper replacement given the current financial situtation. It's not like employers want to do it, they must.
@Pepper6464 and that is why it would be a good idea for people to get involved in a company like WFG, or any other MLM, and chance to have a part time business, w/o the huge investment, while keeping thier job..why should a person but thier entire future in the hands of a job that will lay them off if it saves them money? nothing wrong with them taking their finances in their own hands
@carsonc29 Nothing wrong with getting another part time job or controlling their own finances. But some MLM will let people go if you haven't made enough sales or commission. In an MLM an WFG you still have to pay a percentage to the people above you, the people who recruited you into the business opportunity. It is no different than working in a traditional corporation.
@Pepper6464 if a person joins an MLM that fires you for not making certain numbers, then i would not be involved in a company like that..the one thing that could make companies like WFG diff that a traditional corp, is a person has little control over how fast they can advance, to advance the person above you hase to die,get fired, retire, to free up that spot to promote you, and thats still with no guarantee, or they can add to that postion, like they decide to add another manager,
@Pepper6464 in a MLM, you have no time limits, no paying your dues and kissin alot off executive butt, its simple, if you want promoted this is what you have to do, noone sayin "wait, you only been here 1 year, you can get to that level yet"....there are no favorites, even if the person who brought you in the buss hates you, if you do the work, meet the requirement, they have to promote you, in a corp setting, gettin on the bad side of a perosn who has authority to promote you, would
@carsonc29 Also, MLM is no different than a traditional corporation because your 'downline' or people you recruited still have to pay you a percentage of their sale. You're still paying the man on top.
@Pepper6464 money off whatever they sell, know mostly as override, or they can just choose to have their own office and sell real estate and not recuit anyone..the recruiting aspect is to simply leverage yout time..building a team of people just makes it easier to accomplish goals..10 people can get mnore done than 1 person, just the law of numbers..and i an not in WFG, so save the insults bout the company cause i will not care
@carsonc29 It's okay to recruit others to help you leverage your time but if you focus most of your time on recruiting instead of doing what people pay you for, selling insurance, than you're not being productive. WFG is 90% recruiting. They can be selling energy bars and they would still be focusing recruting.
@Pepper6464 ive always heard this, aim for the recuit, miss with the sale..everyone has somethign that they want, or need that, based on what they make at their job, is out of their reach..it dont have to be anything greedy or materialistic, it can be wantin to put you kids through college w/o them accumulating alot debt, or paying for parent to go to a nice retiremtn home, or even pay to have them stay with you, or maybe you wanna take your spouse on a vacation they have always wante
@Pepper6464 point is, their are things thatr are important to you that you would love to do, but will never be able to cause your will never make enuff to do them, with that being known, an agent should lead with recruiting first..just cause they dont wanna be an agent with WFG, does not mean they wont do business..every new person wants to build a team of people, that bein the reason why recriting is the first step..now if they are talkin to much about the buss. opp and not talking
@Pepper6464 about what the company actually does, then i would see an issue with that..but if they tell a person what the company does for people, and offers to sit with them, and offers the buss opp, then that is the proper way to do it
They pray on desperate people who need work. "Come make lot's of money it's easy". They try to borrow the credibility of large institutions like AEGON, who owns Transamerica, fund companies and a couple of regional Broker Dealers. But they're a flea spec on the balance sheet. Citi once owned Primerica not because they wanted it it showed up on the balance sheet as part of a package deal, they bought Travelers. Same with WFG. It's a crap company. Don't be swayed by distant affiliations.
WFG and Primerica (tAL Williams that changed it's name due to lawsuits) both are multi level marketing organizations that function as financial firms- the Amway of investment sales. Their people aren't well trained, they're barely trained at all. When I was 23 they asked me if I wanted to be a Principal and manage because I had a General Securities License. I was 23 and had been in financial services only 6 months... I ran like hell. There are no CFP's no CLU's, CHFC's- no trained people SCAM
@jordandestin well okay were should I start? you clearly stated that aegon is one of the biggest and is the most important financial organization. I would like to know then were does goldman sachs and jp morgan chase stand in comparison in your mind?? You obviously have the business accumen of a door stop. You are blatantly supporting a company that might not be a scam in the legal sense, but obviously uses a notoriously flawed business plan. wfg is a cochroach in finance.
WFG con artists have now moved to a new scam called PHP out of Northridge,Ca. Sad that they will suck in so many people to another pitiful life insurance agency.
ya I'm a vendor at rexall place during the oilers games, and I couldn't help but feel like it was a load when a woman walked up to me and offered me the job while I was working. Looking it up now it doesn't look like something I'm interested in. I tried Prepaid legal services, it sucked and I dont wanna go through that shit again
WFG was actually branched off of Primerica, an insurance company that basis there business model quite similar. The way this lady promotes her business is that you make money simply by signing people up. No product or services have been sold or offered. This is a pyramid scheme and is illegal. Residual income an amazing way to get paid when you have people working under you actually producing sales. There's nothing wrong with making money off of people, how ever getting paid by people signing
Do not trust this shit... anyone who sigh up for first time they 'll charge you $145.00...getting their ID number.. then what happen you have to bring more ppl to sign and those ppl will be charge $145.00 and then u'll get 5%... basically what they do bulshit ... there is job or work... all you do making ppl to sign up and they'll be charge $145.00
The title of this video is misleading. It takes the credibility of World Financial Group to get people to sign up for a PONZI Scheme which is where you get paid on memberships, which is what she's talking about! This is not World Financial Group!
Funny how those who defend WFG are WFG associates themselves. Hey WFG faggots, how about getting off the internet and your almighty self righteous ass and focus on "building your business" *cough, recruiting, cough⢠instead?
@chiledian1 My screen name is MYAMERICANPSYCHO, doesn't mean I am psycho. I can have a significant other or a friend who is my American psycho. You read too much into names, you don't have much brains.
@MYAMERICANPSYCHO and you don't make sense...I didn't say you were one, your name might indicate a little bit about your state of mind.....much brains? I am saying your screen name is not one that would make someone take your advise very serious...american and psycho in the same sentence...I can have a significant other....? you do not make sense...!!!.....you must be a teen
@chiledian1 So are you suggesting I should change my name to sound more serious? How about MYFOOTUPYOURASS? I think you'll like my new name. You need to mind other people's business on what screen names people choose for themselves. It's Youtube for peep sakes. Youtube is one of the least serious media forms since anybody can post whatever, even videos with no to little truth.
Another Bait and switch YouTube video. Just like Amway use to be. Use misleading advertising to get them in and then try to hook them with something totally different. Can you say LOSER! Projections are meaningless.
callagieo: Going to Google does not mean you did a proper search, which I'm sure thats what you did. Talking to a rep from their company! What did you think they were going to say!! Your trying way too hard to sound like you know what your talking about to justify your complete ignorant comments.Point: You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. In your case, they made you drink a few buckets. Get your facts straight moron!!
Stay in school guys there is no just thing as a quick buck.
Or go to one of their meetings LOL. I seen high school drop outs trying to prospect me into going to their meetings. It's funny how are they going to give financial advice if they themselves aren't doing good economically. Wearing the same cheap suit 2 or 3 times a week.
I know this because i properly researched them, met with a few represenatives, then made my decision to expand my retirement portfolio with a few of their vehicles, instead of wasting my goldern years like most of you will be. So most of you that's wasting your time on the internet bad mouthing a company just because you "heard" something from "someone" and jumped to a conclusion is just showing why finances & education is not a priority in the U.S
@callagieo great points, i have my investments in another fiinance company similar to WFG, am very happy with them, it is amazing how people think they have a company figured out, even they there are watch dogs like the SEC, FINRA,NAC,IRS and other task forces who are continueally lookin into these companies, and they have found no fraud of any kind..
I've read more then enough of these post to see that ignorance is bliss. Well here are some factual comments. WFG doens't have any allegations pending from the SEC, they are backed by some top ranked vendors including ING, and pacific life, and all associates are properly certified passing the national life insurance exam, then getting their series 6 & 63 license. No different then stock brokers with their series 7 license.
it's not funny to see uneducated individuals "try" to slander a company without anything creditable to base their allegation. I'm sure most if not all of the unhappy people bought something without reading the contract and down the line didn't like what they bought. It boils down to individual ignorance, it happens in car sales, home sales, just about any sales. Someone buys something with out reading it and then feels they were "scammed". Contracts have words on it for a reason. Try reading
Although it isn't a real scam, (they sell a real and legal product and/or service), the way they go about it is totally wrong. Imagine telling a person that they will get to keep only 25% of the money they earned. Those that say it is a scam are followers and those that believe in it are leaders. They are just leaders for the wrong company.
I wouldn't go so far to say WFG is a scam. WFG is just uses unethical business practices. Just because something is legal, doesn't mean it is ethical.
Whether or not the business is for you, the door is always open. In WFG you are in business for your self but not by your self. That means how you treat your clients, teammates, and the business in general is totally for you to decide. There is no obligation other than what you really wanna do in life. What is your purpose in life?
Why do you have WFG on your subject title? Can't you find any legitimate ways to promote the junk you're trying to sell? Any one who spends quality effort to learn about WFG will find it's NOT POSSIBLE for it to be a scam. It's an actual industry. Duh. Why would anyone pay such high prices for a web site program when it's free or cheap all over the internet???
@jojo922 wow your so smart, god forbid someone who is from a company defend their workplace. If you know nothing about it, just dont talk. Please tell me how is WFG a scam? What part? Did the scam you ? How did they scam you? Seriously, Lets talk about it. I WANT TO KNOW.
this sayz WFG scam...as usual...a bunch of broke people...complaining about stuff they don't know and of course they are offering some kind of get rich quick "business idea" or "opportunity" that requires no real skill or training or licensing or certification or monitoring by third party institutions to take care of the clients best interest.
maybe the actual selling of life insurance isnt a scam, but this company has had lawsuts and complains, the hiring of "legs" is a fucken scam the more legs that work under you the more money you make. Thats why its called a pyramid, this company just words it differently so that people wont be fooled, but the smart person would know better to stay away from this shit
@airrick any company that i have to give money to to make money is a scam. i have to keep getting legs for me to make money, fuck it sounds so annoying to repeat the same pitch to every fucken leg so they buy in and where i live they trick new imigrant that barely know english wtf is that all about. They tried telling me this is how we help our own people lol fuck that, im already broke from the recession i dont need to give money to a useles cause
WFG reps are supposedly independent brokers who can ofer products from dozens of companies, only ever offers products from Western Reserve Life. How does a legitimate broker-dealer only offer products (VUL or GIUL, regardless of the families' situation) from ONE life ins. company, when they tell families that they can offer products from DOZENS of life ins. companies? Why does this company spend 90% of their time recruiting, and only about 10% of their time actually "helping" families?
@TheeMellaFella In WFG you are in business for your self but not by your self. that means how you treats your clients, team, the business is for you to decide. You have no other obligation other than what you really wanna do in life. Whether or not the business is for you, the door is always open. Do you have a purpose in life?
@TheeMellaFella In WFG you are in business for your self but not by your self. that means how you treats your clients, team, the business is for you to decide. Whether or not the business is for you, the door is always open. You have no other obligation other than what you really wanna do in life. Do you have a purpose in life?
@TheeMellaFella again that is not true, we offer GIUL because we feel it is one of the better company's out there, yes its a sister company and yes we work together and have a partnership. SO WHAT? We literally have partnerships with other insurance company's we just choose not to market them because normally its not the right product or it is to expensive. BUT if you HAVE to buy term or if you HAVE to buy from another company we can offer it. But whats the point if its more expensive?
@TheeMellaFella Brokers need agents , its that simple we sale to those who want to buy and offer a opportunity for those who want to join. Its like any business structure, we try and use the warm market to market our products. Again I don't see how recruiting and joining if you want to is a scam. If that is true does that mean Real Estate is a scam? It depends on
hiring / recruiting agents to work part or full time, There is a commission split. Why work by yourself when you can build a team?
It's always the broke people talking crap. because if you were rich or had money, you wouldn't waste your time surfing through the web. you would be too busy making money than complaining about companies. that truly shows what kind of person you are. i don't see bill gates or donald trump posting a comment. lets just see who's going to be broke and depressed at the end of the day. bunch of morons get a life.
@eddiejtap you are surfing through the web to and making comments, I work for WFG and i love it, but that is not a right comment to put. Not all people who hate wfg are poor people, They just dont understand, its really simple. There's to many MLM scams and Business opportunity's out their and people are scared. Dont forget most people who are talking shit about wfg are old wfg agents themselves. Its just they did not work as hard or as long. They sat around sold a few case said WHERES MY MONEY
WOW amazing how some people make negative comments about a company that is out there helping families. Not only that, but the company has a AAA rating where other financia companys are graded as D F look it up on the better business bureau. do your homeworker, this company is a company that is not going anywhere, the crap that this lady here is posting is a way to go broke. Listne the way she speaks, joke..
WFG is a scam company. My uncle used to work for them as an instructor for new recruits here in San Jose. He straight up told me that he had sleepless nights thinking about how he wasted other people's money and time. MSG me if you guys have any questions.
thats funny. i think your uncle is scamming people not the company. i think you should address that to your uncle then that at least know how the business is ran.
Wow. You sure do lie. Your uncle didn't instruct for anyone. 1. anytime a company is on Forbes magazine's top 20 of the worlds most powerful and largest companies. 2. We don't take anyone's money, if you were ever a part of it then you'd know that but you weren't, at least not long enough to get anything. You're one of those get rich fast types. WFG is a very regulated corp. that deals with only the best of insurance companies. You're a scam.
First of all, I have never been involved with this company. I am speaking on behalf of my uncle. Second, you're right, I am the the get rich fast type. This is why I got my license as an RN and getting my Master's degree next month. Lastly, good luck with your career sir and have a nice day =).
@jamessicat25 i don't blame your views on WFG. we are just humans. we have our own perspective on things. that is why we have our own unique ways of living. i just prospected an individual who's a retired RN. But sadly, his retirement is no where close to inflation. his thinking of working a few years from now. he's 66 btw. He retired when he was 55. i have one lady who's 68 retired but still working paying debts. i know, how can you be retired the same time still working?
@jamessicat25 but yet again i see people with the same income level and retirement age but are financially free. i get paid too. we all do. it doesn't matter if you're the get rich fast type. one thing is for sure: it's not how much money you have, but what you do with that them. same goes with our education. it doesn't matter how much knowledge you have, it's what you do with them that really counts. so where you do see your self? =)
@jamessicat25 why message you so you can offer them another MLM? hah, your uncle was a moron, San Jose office is one of the better office to work for. You call him a instructor but he prob just did the business for a year tired to hire people sold a few cases didnt make much money and lost faith in himself. Like any business WFG takes time. How is recruiting a scam which part of it?
@airrick OK look. Why is it whenever you search on Yahoo "WFG" the word scam always pop out next to it? and why is this page full of people saying that this company is a scam?
@jamessicat25 wow, that has got to be the smartest rebuttal i have ever herd , but its a common one, it shows how uneducated people really are. So whenever you Google or yahoo something its automatically correct? Check wal-mart check Toyota. Whenever their are big company's their are complaints, if it really is a scam the government would of shut it down, WFG would not have contracts , and Ageon would not have bought us out. Alot of people say its a scam because they failed.
@swchoi89 he has the right to fight for it. cuz ppl here are all narrow minded that doesnt know any shit in the world. oh btw i dont even work for them
@katasinEX right, u dont work for them so you dont know about it.. I worked for them for 3 months and I know what the hell is going on. I think its the most accurate measure to tell people about my personal experience.
@swchoi89 yup i dont.. but my auntie and my mother have been working there for years. i assume they have way far better experience than you do. and pretty much i understand whats going on in there. they wanted to recruit me but i rejected since its not the right job for me. its just funny ppl talking shit about it and call it a scam when they dont know any shit
@swchoi89 tell me ur whole story.. its impossible that they would lie to you, scam you, and shit u.. because if they did the government wouldve shut them down already. like i said u dont know any shit.
@katasinEX dude just stop commenting, its so annoying. Im not gonna waste my precious time explaining shit and you are nowhere close to convincing me that I wasn't trying hard enough. Good day to you and you can earn all those fuckin money or mooch off your fucking rich parents if they are sooooooooooo damn successsful
@katasinEX ummm fyi the government is looking to shut them down !! improper lending, investment strategies, agents are being fined and suspended, and so on .....
@probslpwtyormama wfg reps dont get fired the are 1099, just because u get sued so what, people get suned all the time. investgation are open when there are complaints.
ladies and gentlemen yet another loser talking about WFG. So we're a scam huh. yet we are regulated by FINRA. we deal with companies that control China's money and hugh companies that you wish you had the money to get into. yet we're a scam. Please get a life. stop lying cause you had no friends that would buy from you. This blog shows why. You have no credibility.
THE REAL REAL TRUTH... I was reading Financial Advisor magazine just days ago; an article on the BEST Advisors in the country. One thing I noticed is that EVERY Advisor named, stated that they had been in the business since the 70's or 80's. The TRUTH... It takes time to win in business. Almost EVERYONE who has been with WFG more than 10 years is wealthy and completely financially independent. Everyone who is complaining on here are all the quick quitters.
nothing personal. most of your comments are true. but ur getting too emotional. i work in WFG. and 1 thing i learn is never put your emotion when it comes to investments. The only reason WFG is very successful is because of the system. and you know how our system works. don't waste your time proving anything. In the end, we can only help those who are welling to learn. 4 those who doesn't, they'll witness it hard when they're in the spot. People don't plan to fail, they just fail to plan.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
THE REAL TRUTH... WFG is a very fine company. Unfortunately, what most people don't understand is that it is 'owing your own business', and this takes HARD work, DEDICATION, EXTREME PATIENCE and TIME (often many years)!! The problem isn't with WFG, it's all the people who jump in and out trying to 'Get Rich Quick'. They don't do what it takes, aren't in it for the long run, and then complain about failing.
olambegim.....) they dont pay for background check bcuz of we are nothing. means we dont have a license , dont have experience, dont have skills..dont know about marketing...WFG ppl gonna traind us..they can make us zero to hero...but if we decide to be sumthing..we pay for backgound bcuz this is our business not wfg..!!!!!!
this video sucks. I belong to World Financial Group and we don't do anything represented in this video. Yeah we recruit people( we actually call it prospecting) but we don't sell shit . It never cost me $1000 to join, I've only paid $325 and that was just for the Life Insurance course I had to take in order to become a broker. We don't sell, we offer solutions to financial problems. None of our clients has ever had to pay out of their own pockets. THe companies we deal with pay us.
WFG isn't a scam but most people won't succeed in this. It's basically a MLM (it's basically a legal pyramid scheme), in other words you need to recruit people and those recruits need to recruit people in order for you to get money. Their actual product itself sucks and one of the worst in the industry. In fact, most agents don't know what they are selling since that's not the main part of the job, the main part is recruiting people...and it costs a total of 1000 dollars to join and may fail2
@djricekcn you are so wrong, what are we selling please tell me and how does it suck? Again , facts and not opinions. How does it suck? Compared to what does it suck? Have you bought the product? What kind of Risk is involved? What kind of rewards are possible? Did you lose any money in your investment with WFG other then a few hundred bucks which technically does not go to WFG, it goes to helping get licensed hell its not even paid to us.
Oh, my bad... so it's basically charity work. Sorry, no Ferrari for the bottom of the pyramid! ...or mortgage, or groceries, or respect from friends or family because you're constantly trying to "guide them" to buy from you. Gee! WFG IS a GREAT THING!
You said it yourself. "MOST PEOPLE DON'T MAKE IT." At these little seminars all you sharks go on and on about how easy it is and anyone can do it! Even this video we are discussing talks about how EASY it is. All you have to do is pay 10 bucks a month! Luckily I never found out the hard way and I still have all my friends. I was smart enough to do some research before I wasted my time and energy fighting for some soulless bullshit and taking advantage of people.
Dude you quit. That says everything right there. how do you lose friends if you never really had any. I have a best friend that won't do the business and really wants nothing to do with it cause he thinks he would have to sell something. Yet he is willing to go and listen, that is all you can really expect from a true friend, someone who will be open minded cause they know that you won't lead them down the wrong path. You on the other hand just quit cause you saw it would be hard.
Primerica is a MLM and they are garbage!!!
aIprime1 2 weeks ago
No mater what 'style' they claim it is, it makes them bigger commissions rather than doing what is right for the consumer. It is no different than the mindset for the variable rate loans that were sold. The agent 'justifies' his sale in that the person 'now has insurance'. The problem here is that the client is either over-paying for expensive 'savings type' insurance or they are drastically under-insured because they can't buy enough face amount to properly cover the family. It's a scam.
nododon 4 weeks ago

Is this MLM?
nododon 3 months ago
@nododon why such negativity...i didnt watch the whole video, just scrolled down to read some of the comments
carsonc29 4 weeks ago
@carsonc29 All you have to do is read the Senate Subcommittee hearing that Senator Metzenbaum chaired regarding the insurance products that are intentionally designed to rip people off. It includes all types of 'savings type' life insurance contracts. All consumer watchdog organizations recommend staying away from these bogus plans that bundle your savings into a life insurance contract. They all recommend level term with a separate savings program (IRA, voluntary account, etc.).
nododon 4 weeks ago
@nododon i would have to totally agree with you on that last part..it is senseless to have your savings and retirement accounts tied to an insurance prodcut...never heard of a car insurance company adding a savings plan to its insurance, cause thet wouldnt make sense, its car insurance, pure and simple
carsonc29 4 weeks ago
@carsonc29 One other thing you might want to consider. The life insurance industry is not regulated by any national body. They are state regulated and each state elect or the governor appoints the insurance commissioner. That means they are 'self' regulated because nobody is out there looking out for the consumer. Just take a UVL policy and try and read it. It's almost hilarious how confusing they make it. People will typically want to put them in a drawer after the second page.
nododon 4 weeks ago
@nododon its also funny to read the comments on the people who sell it, tryin to concivnce themselves that its a good investement, even tho most of me dont even own the product themselves..and your right, noone is out there lookin out for people, banks knew their subprimes were goin to implode, but i never heard of any bank hosting any seminars teaching people how to avoid their toxic loans or how to pay off your mortgage earlier..that would not be benificail to them, business wise

WFG do not believe they are a pyramid, they call it team building. Excuse me but with my work experiences, I do not recall any of my colleagues, supervisor and higher, taking a percentage of my paycheck.
Pepper6464 10 months ago
@Pepper6464 would you call real estate a scam? reason why is ask is because a broker can recuit and train other agents, and will get paid off thier efforts, even tho they do not have to be present during the sale..thats sounds to me like the broker is takin a part of every selling agents paycheck...better sound the scam alert
carsonc29 4 weeks ago
@carsonc29 Nobody is born owning land to sell to others. So yes real estate is a scam. Land like air and water should be free. Men's greed lies in the desire of ownership. But I guess that is the society, capitalism, the US is built on.
Pepper6464 3 weeks ago
I had the unfortunate to meet some WFG people who recruited me. They never tell you what they sell upfront because it's all so complicated and varied. Yeah right, like the financial products they sell is unique etc. These people are totally like a cult. They refuse to see other people's points of views. I told them if they are recruit someone and that new recruit started to recruit others, they are building a pyramid. But these freaks don't see it that way and called it team building. Bull shit!
Pepper6464 10 months ago
@Pepper6464 wow, you seem very narrow minded..EVERY organzation recruits..if you were to draw out the outline of any church, corportation, pro sports team..they would all be in the shape of a pyramid with one main person at the top reaping most if not all of the benefit..maybe the issue isnt them not seein your point of view, maybe its you thnkin your point of view is right?..they might work in a way similiar to realesate where a broker can recruit and train agents, and they make
carsonc29 4 weeks ago
@carsonc29 No doubt that in our capitalist society, everything is like a pyramid. The difference between WFG and other entities is that those who are recruited into an organization get benefits right away. New recruits in WFG don't even get paid training while other organization pay for your training along with other benefits.
Pepper6464 3 weeks ago
@Pepper6464 the type business that people get paid during training and immediate benifts are called jobs, WFG, from my undersdtanding is a business opportunity..if a person got involed with this company and built a client base and team of people that paid him or her, 10k a month 120k per yr, they really wouldnt need to have any benifits, there are not to many surgeries or things you or your kids may need that 120k wont provide
carsonc29 3 weeks ago
@carsonc29 Builing a client base and a team of people that can earn you 10k a month or 120k a year takes YEARS! Most people, especially in these tough economic times CANNOT AFFORD to piss away benefits for a business opporunity that are not guranteed years down the road. Like all business opportunies, you have to put up a large amount of money just to get started. It is easier for people who already have money to start. If you don't have the money, you borrow and be in more debt. Not so smart.
Pepper6464 3 weeks ago
@Pepper6464 who said it takes alot of money to get involved, and who said you have to start fulltime? not every buss opp takes a ton of money to start..most give you the chance to start part time, learn a buss w/o giving up your fulltime job and all those precious benifts..your gonna have to provide some stats for those claims, you cant just make a genralized opinion and try to pass it off as facts, now thats not so smart
carsonc29 3 weeks ago
@carsonc29 True WFG let's you start part time with $100 startup cost but they still won't give you paid training. You would have to find other work to pay for your business opportunity such as getting your insurance license swhich can cost you hundreds of dollars and other business expenses. You won't earn money right away with WFG, and you'll start in the red. You're not very smart if you want to start in debt.
Pepper6464 3 weeks ago
@Pepper6464 ot if the company pays the licensing fees...are you sure you wanna wanna reexamine that last part of you comment "You're not very smart if you want to start in debt".does not EVERY start up business start off in the red?..ill answer that for you, its a yes...if i wanted to start a buiness, lets say my own resturant, i have to go into debt gettin a small loan from a bank, buy all my inventory(food, beverage ect), all that money is spent b4 i ever open my doors to any
carsonc29 3 weeks ago
@carsonc29 I'll reexamine my previous statement of going into deb. All business go into deb when starting out. Just like when you decide to get a college education. Same thing.
Pepper6464 3 weeks ago
@Pepper6464 customers, you are not very smart if you failed to take that into consideration...startin a business takes risk and money, a job does not..but then again thats why business owners make more than employees, they take risk and realize nothin of any real value comes free...does a lawyer get paid for training while they are in school learing to be a lawyer, no, does a med school student get paid while they are studying, no..a business owner choses to get paid on the value
carsonc29 3 weeks ago
@carsonc29 Why do you keep calling it a job? You don't sound very smart. It is a career!
Pepper6464 3 weeks ago
@Pepper6464 a career and a job are 2 diff things depending on the person you ask, believe it or not, but not everyone looks at what they do as their career, its just something they do to make money to pay their bills and survive...its still a job, career is might just a fancy way of sayin it, a trashman is still a trash man, weatherthey say it like that, or say "sanitation engineer", its still all the same
carsonc29 3 weeks ago
@carsonc29 How can you compare someone who is in college to someone who isn't? Medical and Law students choose to study their field. They don't get paid because they choosen to study to benefit themselves. People who are working should get paid because they are still providing a service to somebody else, their employers not just themselves.
Pepper6464 3 weeks ago
@Pepper6464 they provide, while an employee chooses to get paid based on their time, which is why an employee will always have limited pay, are you so sure that a person cant make money in WFG right away? is that based on facts and research, or just stipulation and assumption? besides, most businesses wont start to earn a profit until after some time put in, what you said isnt something that is uncommon in any business
carsonc29 3 weeks ago
@carsonc29 You just said WFG is a numbers game. So of course people can't make money right away unless they already have insurnace license and a good amount of clients. That can take months to secure. You said 'most businessnes wont start to earn profit until some time put into it and then you implied you can make money with WFG right away.' You just contridicted yourself.
Pepper6464 3 weeks ago
@Pepper6464 you can make money in WFG or any MLM, but to the amounts that you can quit your day job and start planning on what beach front property tou want to buy, then no, that will take some time, but i have heard of people who got into who exploded real quick, made real money right away, just depends on the person..in a typical business you will make money, but after payin off any debt you used to start the business and all the overhead cost, your lucky to break even, in an MLM
carsonc29 3 weeks ago
@Pepper6464 or i should say some MLM, i realize not all work the same way and are viable business, but for the ones who are viable, since you typicall dont have any overhead, cause the sponser company cover thats, you have a better chance to keep any of the money you make, but it depends on the time a person puts in,how fast they can learn the product and sales techniques, ect..
carsonc29 3 weeks ago
@carsonc29 Paid training are not just jobs, they are careers! Employers invest in you hence, you are investing in a long term career.
Pepper6464 3 weeks ago
@Pepper6464 investing in you for the long term you say??? interesting, then why do companies elimiate jobs here to outsource somewhere else, and why do they lay people off?..seems to me if your going to invest in someone longterm, you wouldnt let them go..you do realize a companies biggest expenese aka liability, is its employees right? so you dont think a company wont eliminate their "long term investments" if they can find a cheaper way of doin that particular job?
carsonc29 3 weeks ago
@carsonc29 Laying people off is the last resort to cut costs. It is unfotunate situtation. Not only do employers have to lay off people they also know they are laying off talented people who they invested so much in. It is like selling expensive equipment to save $. It is a lost on both ends. Employees are the biggest liability as well as the biggest reward. The more talent and experience an employee has the more of a liability they are as they take on important roles, It is an equal trade off.
Pepper6464 3 weeks ago
@carsonc29 A company would let go of their long term investment if they can find a cheaper replacement given the current financial situtation. It's not like employers want to do it, they must.
Pepper6464 3 weeks ago
@Pepper6464 and that is why it would be a good idea for people to get involved in a company like WFG, or any other MLM, and chance to have a part time business, w/o the huge investment, while keeping thier job..why should a person but thier entire future in the hands of a job that will lay them off if it saves them money? nothing wrong with them taking their finances in their own hands
carsonc29 3 weeks ago
@carsonc29 Nothing wrong with getting another part time job or controlling their own finances. But some MLM will let people go if you haven't made enough sales or commission. In an MLM an WFG you still have to pay a percentage to the people above you, the people who recruited you into the business opportunity. It is no different than working in a traditional corporation.
Pepper6464 3 weeks ago
@Pepper6464 if a person joins an MLM that fires you for not making certain numbers, then i would not be involved in a company like that..the one thing that could make companies like WFG diff that a traditional corp, is a person has little control over how fast they can advance, to advance the person above you hase to die,get fired, retire, to free up that spot to promote you, and thats still with no guarantee, or they can add to that postion, like they decide to add another manager,
carsonc29 3 weeks ago
@Pepper6464 in a MLM, you have no time limits, no paying your dues and kissin alot off executive butt, its simple, if you want promoted this is what you have to do, noone sayin "wait, you only been here 1 year, you can get to that level yet"....there are no favorites, even if the person who brought you in the buss hates you, if you do the work, meet the requirement, they have to promote you, in a corp setting, gettin on the bad side of a perosn who has authority to promote you, would
carsonc29 3 weeks ago
@Pepper6464 be a very bad thing
carsonc29 3 weeks ago
@carsonc29 Also, MLM is no different than a traditional corporation because your 'downline' or people you recruited still have to pay you a percentage of their sale. You're still paying the man on top.
Pepper6464 3 weeks ago
@Pepper6464 money off whatever they sell, know mostly as override, or they can just choose to have their own office and sell real estate and not recuit anyone..the recruiting aspect is to simply leverage yout time..building a team of people just makes it easier to accomplish goals..10 people can get mnore done than 1 person, just the law of numbers..and i an not in WFG, so save the insults bout the company cause i will not care
carsonc29 4 weeks ago
@carsonc29 It's okay to recruit others to help you leverage your time but if you focus most of your time on recruiting instead of doing what people pay you for, selling insurance, than you're not being productive. WFG is 90% recruiting. They can be selling energy bars and they would still be focusing recruting.
Pepper6464 3 weeks ago
@Pepper6464 ive always heard this, aim for the recuit, miss with the sale..everyone has somethign that they want, or need that, based on what they make at their job, is out of their reach..it dont have to be anything greedy or materialistic, it can be wantin to put you kids through college w/o them accumulating alot debt, or paying for parent to go to a nice retiremtn home, or even pay to have them stay with you, or maybe you wanna take your spouse on a vacation they have always wante
carsonc29 3 weeks ago
@Pepper6464 point is, their are things thatr are important to you that you would love to do, but will never be able to cause your will never make enuff to do them, with that being known, an agent should lead with recruiting first..just cause they dont wanna be an agent with WFG, does not mean they wont do business..every new person wants to build a team of people, that bein the reason why recriting is the first step..now if they are talkin to much about the buss. opp and not talking
carsonc29 3 weeks ago

ThomasSnort 1 year ago
WFG and Primerica (tAL Williams that changed it's name due to lawsuits) both are multi level marketing organizations that function as financial firms- the Amway of investment sales. Their people aren't well trained, they're barely trained at all. When I was 23 they asked me if I wanted to be a Principal and manage because I had a General Securities License. I was 23 and had been in financial services only 6 months... I ran like hell. There are no CFP's no CLU's, CHFC's- no trained people SCAM

Or go to one of their meetings LOL. I seen high school drop outs trying to prospect me into going to their meetings. It's funny how are they going to give financial advice if they themselves aren't doing good economically. Wearing the same cheap suit 2 or 3 times a week.
Holding meetings in parking lots. Sad

@callagieo great points, i have my investments in another fiinance company similar to WFG, am very happy with them, it is amazing how people think they have a company figured out, even they there are watch dogs like the SEC, FINRA,NAC,IRS and other task forces who are continueally lookin into these companies, and they have found no fraud of any kind..
carsonc29 4 weeks ago

Try reading
callagieo 1 year ago
Although it isn't a real scam, (they sell a real and legal product and/or service), the way they go about it is totally wrong. Imagine telling a person that they will get to keep only 25% of the money they earned. Those that say it is a scam are followers and those that believe in it are leaders. They are just leaders for the wrong company.

Whether or not the business is for you, the door is always open. In WFG you are in business for your self but not by your self. That means how you treat your clients, teammates, and the business in general is totally for you to decide. There is no obligation other than what you really wanna do in life. What is your purpose in life?
Luvxtrostis 1 year ago
Why do you have WFG on your subject title? Can't you find any legitimate ways to promote the junk you're trying to sell? Any one who spends quality effort to learn about WFG will find it's NOT POSSIBLE for it to be a scam. It's an actual industry. Duh. Why would anyone pay such high prices for a web site program when it's free or cheap all over the internet???

this sayz WFG scam...as usual...a bunch of broke people...complaining about stuff they don't know and of course they are offering some kind of get rich quick "business idea" or "opportunity" that requires no real skill or training or licensing or certification or monitoring by third party institutions to take care of the clients best interest.

maybe the actual selling of life insurance isnt a scam, but this company has had lawsuts and complains, the hiring of "legs" is a fucken scam the more legs that work under you the more money you make.

@TheeMellaFella again that is not true, we offer GIUL because we feel it is one of the better company's out there, yes its a sister company and yes we work together and have a partnership. SO WHAT? We literally have partnerships with other insurance company's we just choose not to market them because normally its not the right product or it is to expensive. BUT if you HAVE to buy term or if you HAVE to buy from another company we can offer it. But whats the point if its more expensive?
airrick 1 year ago
@TheeMellaFella Brokers need agents , its that simple we sale to those who want to buy and offer a opportunity for those who want to join. Its like any business structure, we try and use the warm market to market our products. Again I don't see how recruiting and joining if you want to is a scam. If that is true does that mean Real Estate is a scam? It depends on
hiring / recruiting agents to work part or full time, There is a commission split. Why work by yourself when you can build a team?

@eddiejtap you are surfing through the web to and making comments, I work for WFG and i love it, but that is not a right comment to put. Not all people who hate wfg are poor people, They just dont understand, its really simple. There's to many MLM scams and Business opportunity's out their and people are scared. Dont forget most people who are talking shit about wfg are old wfg agents themselves. Its just they did not work as hard or as long. They sat around sold a few case said WHERES MY MONEY

WFG is a scam company. My uncle used to work for them as an instructor for new recruits here in San Jose. He straight up told me that he had sleepless nights thinking about how he wasted other people's money and time. MSG me if you guys have any questions.
jamessicat25 2 years ago
thats funny. i think your uncle is scamming people not the company. i think you should address that to your uncle then that at least know how the business is ran.
Luvxtrostis 2 years ago
You're a scam.
anonymousnamealso 1 year ago
First of all, I have never been involved with this company. I am speaking on behalf of my uncle. Second, you're right, I am the the get rich fast type. This is why I got my license as an RN and getting my Master's degree next month. Lastly, good luck with your career sir and have a nice day =).
jamessicat25 1 year ago
@jamessicat25 i don't blame your views on WFG. we are just humans. we have our own perspective on things. that is why we have our own unique ways of living. i just prospected an individual who's a retired RN. But sadly, his retirement is no where close to inflation. his thinking of working a few years from now. he's 66 btw. He retired when he was 55. i have one lady who's 68 retired but still working paying debts. i know, how can you be retired the same time still working?
Luvxtrostis 1 year ago
@jamessicat25 but yet again i see people with the same income level and retirement age but are financially free. i get paid too. we all do. it doesn't matter if you're the get rich fast type. one thing is for sure: it's not how much money you have, but what you do with that them. same goes with our education. it doesn't matter how much knowledge you have, it's what you do with them that really counts. so where you do see your self? =)
Luvxtrostis 1 year ago
@jamessicat25 why message you so you can offer them another MLM? hah, your uncle was a moron, San Jose office is one of the better office to work for. You call him a instructor but he prob just did the business for a year tired to hire people sold a few cases didnt make much money and lost faith in himself. Like any business WFG takes time. How is recruiting a scam which part of it?
airrick 1 year ago
@airrick OK look. Why is it whenever you search on Yahoo "WFG" the word scam always pop out next to it? and why is this page full of people saying that this company is a scam?
jamessicat25 1 year ago
@jamessicat25 wow, that has got to be the smartest rebuttal i have ever herd , but its a common one, it shows how uneducated people really are. So whenever you Google or yahoo something its automatically correct? Check wal-mart check Toyota. Whenever their are big company's their are complaints, if it really is a scam the government would of shut it down, WFG would not have contracts , and Ageon would not have bought us out. Alot of people say its a scam because they failed.

They don't do what it takes, aren't in it for the long run, and then complain about failing.

this video sucks.

In fact, most agents don't know what they are selling since that's not the main part of the job, the main part is recruiting people...and it costs a total of 1000 dollars to join and may fail2
djricekcn 2 years ago
@djricekcn you are so wrong, what are we selling please tell me and how does it suck? Again , facts and not opinions. How does it suck? Compared to what does it suck? Have you bought the product? What kind of Risk is involved? What kind of rewards are possible? Did you lose any money in your investment with WFG other then a few hundred bucks which technically does not go to WFG, it goes to helping get licensed hell its not even paid to us.

I was smart enough to do some research before I wasted my time and energy fighting for some soulless bullshit and taking advantage of people.
jonasd86 2 years ago
Dude you quit. That says everything right there. how do you lose friends if you never really had any. I have a best friend that won't do the business and really wants nothing to do with it cause he thinks he would have to sell something. Yet he is willing to go and listen, that is all you can really expect from a true friend, someone who will be open minded cause they know that you won't lead them down the wrong path. You on the other hand just quit cause you saw it would be hard.
