Thats great! We stay on Lexington & 58th in the condos. My sister goes to Columbia U while I went to Cornell; she's probably not as close as you she has to come from the otherside of central park.

oh man.....i go to Bergen in Jersey and i just got a letter from Columbia! Bergen has a special program, which im in, that can get you into here, even with a scholarship! im soooooooooooo gased right now! lol. i was thinking of Princeton, but damm, a DIRECT connection with Columbia!!! idk....i think ima have to say COLUMBIA! im maddd hyped!!!! lol! I did my Master of Science in Journalism at Columbia, class of '84. Born and raised in Montreal and went to NYC for only the second time. Wonderful place, great campus, terrific atmosphere, lots of things in New York to see and do. They were among the best days of my life.

After graduating went to Toronto and worked in journalism for 12 years, now in corporate communications.

take note that the buildings made of the deeper red brick, with the tower that they focus on a few times, is not a part of the university that many people see. Unless you attend teacher's college, you'll never go into those buildings.

true. but if for some wild reason you ever take a step north of the main campus, you will see those buildings. they are beautiful though, and a noteworthy part of the campus - despite the fact they aren't undergraduate buildings.
