The old Harrier had its problems (limited vertical flight time, i think) an its top speed wasnt exceptionally fast but it was a bloody good plane that served us well for years, but the F35 is the next generation. Just as a matter of interest, anyone know of any flight restrictions it has in hover mode and what its Max speed is? VTOL is the future.
@0VaNdAm0 nah buddy, not COD. TOM CLANCEY'S MOFUCKIN HAWX 2. means you know everything about planes. bitches. jeez. i mean you don't even get to fly planes in CoD. coh. fockin ball.
@SuperStrif I would think not. As the air gets thinner the prop probably wouldn't work as well. I don't have much knowledge about it but that's just my logic.
But the funny part of it all is that all 20 F-35 are still standing too rusty. Now they are 186 F-22 still and 20 F-35 still, all fighters are still invisible
@NosferatuAaacaado lol?? the vertical takeoff was invented by bristol in the united kingdom and the manufacturers for anything and everything related to both the harrier and f35 was all devoloped in United kingdom/United states good try but russion engineering is crap.
can this jet take off to flight from a hoovering position? and ca it land on hoovering after flight?. I have been looking for videos of this jet doing these things but cant find any. I hope you get what I mean.
The Harrier was a great plane that sparked vertical take off and has an intuitive design and it did perform well during the Falklands but a lot of that was due to the new missile they had at the time. But there is a reason that England and American have replaced them. Because the F 35 is a better plane overall, faster, more capable, more advanced, a better weapons system and overall a better plane. The harrier has become old and obsolete. just sayin

@NosferatuAaacaado The F35 is a Lockheed/BAE design. Neither of those companies are Russian, friend.

It does hover like an eagle, but I hope that it doesn't become extinct like one.

Poor Harrier performance during the Falklands War is one of the primary reasons Britain joined the F-35 program.

Are you kidding. The Harrier kicked ass in the Falklands.

harrier jump jet is a better hovering system and hariers are better planes
